Splitting a full cord first with the regular 6 way wedge, then switching to the 7-way box wedge. Douglas fir splits like a dream, the Eastonmade 22-28 makes short work out of a cord of rounds and the smaller splits become bundle wood. I will use this combination again as there was no re splitting and the labor saving on the larger rounds is well worth it. Thanks for stopping by.
