I don’t find your recipes complicated, I always feel inspired by you. My frustration is actually with my food sensitivities and how my stomach responds when I eat a strictly vegan diet. I can’t eat gluten, so that rules out a lot of your Seitan dishes and I have to limit my legumes for similar reasons. Every time I try going vegan I’m a walking stomach ache. It just makes me so sad, because I’ve supported animals all my life and my heart is with you about the reasons why you chose a plant based diet. Anyway, keep making your amazing food! 💜

It would be great to see the group of eaters sit down at a table and enjoy this magical meal together. So many cooking demonstrations end with people standing around eating. That's not a perfect ending to a great meal preparation experience. That's the moment of truth I'd like to see.

I cooked the tofu recipe in my old cast iron pan and it was totally amazing! Simple but packed with flavour.

Made the glazed tofu one, oh man so good!! Thought mine looked a little dry coming out of oven but all the flavour was there. Yummy 🤤

Oh, my goddess, man, you have me starving to death over here. (How the hell am I starving, and me one full stone above my best weight?!?) I wish I had this at home. I would need a grocery trip for half of these ingredients, because brocolli rabe and fresh green beans are seasonal, and otherwise expensive, plus I'm out of canned pineapple. I keep frozen veg, and usally tofu, and canned and dry beans, but... In spite of my admittedly excellent abilities (which the rest of y'all *wish* I would cook for you), you, amazing man, you blow me away with your seemingly effortless concoctions, done in less than two hours. You're something like half my age, with twice my skills. I'll never catch up! I don't know what your secret is, but if I ever get that gods damned "monkey's paw," I know what one of my three phokin' wishes will be: "Without taking away their abilities, I wish to have all of the cooking knowledge and skills of my favourite Vegan chefs/cooks." Phok wishing for a husband who cooks like you; I want to be able to wow muthahphokas with skillz. Would it be wrong to wish for healthy immortality for myself, and everyone who I like and love? That would include you, mate. The third wish... Maybe something grand, like wishing we could, with great care for mishaps, spread Terrestrial life throughout the cosmos, without disturbing Native alien species we may find. But for now, I have some tofu, some frozen veg, rice, canned tomatoes, various oils and Vegan butter, fresh wild greens from my own yard, and a spice cabinet that would make your mama/daddy cry. P.S. I love seeing your dad cooking. He reminds me of mine, long gone at 57, in 2001, as well as my late husband, dropped dead in front of me a few years ago, at 56, of heart disease. Take care of him, mate, and your mum. Time is precious, and you matter to me.
