BTW, for anyone else new to New World (Which i assume you also are if you're watching this), you need to have the materia in your inventory or the stash at the location you're using the Gypsum Kiln at for the stuff to pop up. Thought it wasn't showing cause of some sorta level/trade skill minimum that I needed to reach
I've found for another good way to get good 700 gs PVE items is Portal runs. I started with 630 gs and after doing a couple days of portals i was getting 700 gs items. And I've noticed that if i equip items with perks i want and specific weapons the chest will usually give me something similar with a higher gs most times. I'm currently have a build a 698 with most of perks i want on them.
I just loaded up all my materia and have come back for a refresher. Thanks for the heads up. Well articulated, this is a huge help. You're not just giving us a fish You're teaching us to fish. Slow clap, high five!
I have a soft spot in my heart for Refreshing Divine, Refreshing & Savior on staff.(Daemon Stomach life staff) Can't say how many times Refreshing Divine has saved my entire group with back to back casts with no cooldown.
100% agree Can’t tell you how many times I’ve saved people during influence races with these perks. Savior and refreshing divine embrace fit so well together.
The firelord's set is also pretty good for light(featherweight) or medium(tumbler/attuned leatherpants) firestaff build ! (Fire harnessing and enchanted ward, with a good chance at having health as 3rd random perk)
You said you start getting the materia at 65, but I started getting it around 15 or 25 I think. You get a lot of materia without running anything. it's nice.
I'm running lifering spear with 2 pieces of the Zhou set with the attuned pants artifact. It's pretty serviceable. One day I'll replace the chest and gloves, if I can ever decide what I want my off-hand weapon to be. Kinda tired of running GA.
Are crafting professions not good anymore for making weapons/armor/jewelry? Seems like there’s no reason to bother getting to 250 in professions when you can craft 700GS in the gypsum kiln. Very curious about this!
Here is what I want to know as new player. 1. I have armor but I do not understand how much defense am I getting. (elemental resist and physical resist.) at 1000, 2000, 3000. (light, medium, heavy) 2. Ok so I have armor, but gems give me some absorption which is a new word. (5 percent thrust absorption.) Let pretend 3000 gives 25 damage resist is that 5 percent of the remaining damage? does rend only do stuff to my armor or to everything? 3. Does fortify just increase my armor resistances? I ask because without this Iv no idea how to even calculate what is better than other things.
I have a shit ton of epics and legendaries! But a lot are low GS. Should I salvage everything below like 690? And just focus on higher lvl GS items from kilm and drops 🤔🤔🤔
As a flail wielder I am actually considering Cleansing Whip from Genesis for PvP which comes with Flame Attunement and Plagued Strikes. With Trenchant Strikes the follow up attack from Trip and normal heavy attacks might hit pretty hard while also applying Disease. What do you think?
i can only see the heart runes from each dungeon, is there some thing i need to do first? (done the season thingy.) ahhh one need t have the materia in the inventory.
Only started the PvP track this season and on the first track checkpoint 3 I got a Life Staff called The Font 650GS, Rally IV Gem, Blessed and Refreshing Move... could not believe it... sadly have been unable to upgrade it (or any of my PvP track named gear The Wyrd, Thighwyrd etc) due to the apparent know bug which moves them to Unknown and greys out the Craft Button :( Strangely it does not even show on NWDB.
I rly wondering can someone play the abyss great axe at pve content like mutations and what build it will be good, plz make a video with the abyss pve build!!!
I'm 100% for a video explaining what perks are good but only if you deep dive into the why. It's the difference between giving us a fish to feed us a day and teaching us to fish to feed us our entire life.
I can only sub once but I can like and comment many times. Siked about the new website. I'll be bookmarking it. It'll be cool if after some time y'all can gain some revenue from it as well. Thanks for looking out for us so well. I talk abouth duke and Jay in global chat, I will from here on our mention baggins as well. Thank you.
Oil Jar seems good at first glance, until you realize that 90% of people in PVP are gemmed to resist Thrust and Fire, so you're fucked on both resistances if you wanna do half decent damage.
As a noob, I'm excited for some magnify. I also feel like this vid is meh on magnify... Wasted perk? It'd be better to have gem slot eh? Or even another pve/pvp perk? Y'all get after me for why magnify is only good for my logging, mining, harvesting.... Please, I'm kinda dumb (but, I ain't stupid)
So being a "Gatherer/Crafter" isn't super viable then? Considering all these top tier items only take "Materia" to make... No resources needed... That makes me sad :( Crafters should be necessary...
You need to have the Dense Mutator Materia in your inventory to see the options! You can earn it from mutated expeditions or the free track on the season pass
So.. I maybe be dumb.. but I started playing 4 weeks ago. I got some recipes, but other then heartrunes from expeditions, I have zero stuff to craft at the Kiln.. how am I supposed to get stuff to craft like in the video? oO
Soul Pollen and Ritual of the Hereafter are BiS, and a couple other items too! I actually crafted a BiS lifestaff in the video from the kiln, incase you missed it :)
