Just in case some new people might want to know, on the 1 inch mandrel one complete pass using the full length is approximately 8 feet of para cord. Now I always give myself some fudge room and to be safe go with 9 feet. Hope that helps others

I've been tying turks heads for years, i just got you easy mandrel and did my first tie using it. You are so right, easy to use and follow. I can say you have made this sailor proof.

I just got the 1 1/4 inch mandrel and it easily made a nice walking stick grip. Please note to make it longer than you want finished. When you tighten up the cord the length shortens also.

I tie several types of cord and wrap (and sell as well). Had trouble with Turks for the longest. Got the 1” today and tied perfect in minutes. Absolutely amazed. For beginner or production it COULD NOT BE EASIER! Would love to see how to expand out with marble as mentioned in video.

I purchased the 1", 1.5", and 2" mandrel's from Jigpro they came with no explanation on how to use them. I am a beginner and found this very frustrating. just a slip of paper with the product telling someone how to find this web video would be a very nice addition. My mandrels laied in the bottom of my bag for months until by accident I came across this video now I understand the process so thank you for this video.

Hello Dianna, Thank you for your purchase and feedback. We're glad you found this video and apologize for not sending more information with your Mandrel. We will take steps going forward in hopes this error on our part doesn't happen again. The good news is, now that you know how to use your Mandrel, you'll be able to use any of of our current Mandrels along with any future Easy Assist Former Mandrels we release. Thanks Again, Russell Managing Member Jig Pro Shop LLC

I just got the 2" mandrel... It says it is a 9 bite mandrel... My question is, because I cant figure it out, surely this nice 2 " mandrel can make smaller number bite weaves.... Right? Am I just not doing something right? I cant figure how to use this mandrel to do a 4 or 5 bite weave. It seems none of the lines line up. So... my question is... Can I make a 4 bite weave, using the 2" mandrel? (looking to wrap a large MagLite)

Did you cut & melt the ends where they come out of the knot , or can you hide them inside?

I have the 7 Bight 1 1/2 version How do I set up the pins to do a 5 Bight? Or do I need to buy the proper Mandrel?

I just caught that, "Making a Monkey's Fist" from a Turks Head knot. OK, you said it, I want to see you do that in a tutorial on just that. I just figured it out, I have been tying Monkey Fist for 51 dam years the same way...Show me how you do it with a turks head?

Bad colors for video. Why don't the pin holes line up going down to mandrel ?

Interesting idea but the user is locked into the knot etched into the mandrel. Also expensive and slow to make. Would it not be better to include instructions on how to tie the knot based on leads, bights and rounds or length needed? Also increase the holes to support higher bight counts. Or would that be coping the other knot tool, instruction books, and the online knot calculator. Oops!
