Refill process is dumb...you just need to know how much you're supposed to fill it with, and measure accordingly. Dumping old oil back in is also hella dumb.
I just followed your instructions and did my first oil change. Thank you. Your instructions were spot on and it only took me about 20 minutes. Thanks for posting this video. My local Jaguar service department wanted to charge me $480.
Great video dude. This Is one of the best out there. Most of the other ones just talk and not show. There is value for people when you actually take the time to go through the motions and show what you are doing etc…Fantastic work…
What's your opinion on prefilling the oil filter? Bit harder to do with cartridge filter but there doesn't seem to be a clear answer regarding this subject. I have the V8 F-Type and I also do my oil changes myself, very easy to do.
excellent tutorial, thank-you! I bought a 2016 3.0 S 6mt last May, it had 29,000 miles on it, never seen salt. It's been in the garage all winter, time to bring it out in a week or so. Even the V6 is a fun car, 380 HP is plenty of power on the two lane twisties of New Hampshire where I live. I put 4,000 miles on it last year, I'll change the oil before putting very many miles on it this spring.
I'm thinking about buying one shortly. So I wanted to look at somebody who I feel competent and honest about the car. Especially when it comes to the minor things we can do ourselves. We have a great channel sir. And I will continue to follow you. Thank you.
When refilling, does it need to refill back thru the little hole that you drained the oil thru or is it fine just to let it fill like a regular car? Thanks
@@MOTOPILOT6 how many miles between oil changes? Even with new vehicles, it has been my experience that there is less oil even at 3500 miles than when starting out with new oil. It may be minimal, but less nonetheless. That is why I always use what is recommended. Anyway, I really like that pump siphon you used.
