Thanks for the review. One thing you might reconsider is the use of a $10 NEMA 14-50 outlet. They are not designed for the continuous high-amperage use of the plug as what happens when you charge an EV. They are also not designed for things that are unplugged from the outlet frequently. A better quality Bryant or Hubbell outlet costs around $50 and should hold up to the electrical demands of an EV. I've seen videos on RU-vid of plenty of melted $10 outlets.
