With every new chevron / ripple stitch video, I get more and more enthusiastic! So far, this one is the topper! I really love the deep vs short chevrons… and the yarn I bought for the first one will work for this one as well. Eventually, I’ll have to make them all! Thanks Crystal! VERY COOL! The first thing I saw when looking at the thumbnail was an “M” and I immediately thought you made a tribute blanket to Freddy Mercury. 😂the color way definitely makes me think of rock n roll. No matter, it’s beautiful.

It’s hard not to love the Picasso rainbow yarn in terms of beauty and ease to work with. I made my first chevron pattern about 40 yrs ago and it was my first crochet project! I still have it and although I don’t remember the yarn brand it still looks new!

I love love love this blanket Soo much Soo I went to ice yarns to get the Picasso yarn and it’s sold out 😭. Again! I will never get to make the thunderbolts and lightning blanket. 😔 I can never ever get the rainbow Picasso yarn. I’ve tried a dozen times. OMG I think could actually make a "thing" thanks to this tutorial. Instead of my random granny square patterns I use to practice to learn stitches, and my small blanketish things cuz I just want to see how this cake looks when it's all stitched, but now it's not even the size of a dog blanket. I love, love, love the short, tall chevrons and that it can have some randomness based on your rows. Thank you, you're going to make a crocheter out of me!

You said you try to help people and don’t succeed at that. I was given the gift of crochet after night terrors in the middle of the night in the group home. I wasted this gift for most of my life. Started applying it to gift others the end of 2019. Until this year I was only doing mostly double crochet, stitch, straight rows. Until 2020 started doing Chevron every now and then double crochet stitch. Recently I have been branching out learning different techniques, different patterns, and different methods. Right now I’m working on your 3-D seashell, puff, stitch, blanket. I’m getting to apply other stuff I learned from you and others to the finished end hopefully today to match the starting end. Yes we are all human and mess up. But no teacher on RU-vid to do with crochet has encouraged me to move forward through my procrastinating fear. My thoughts there’s no way I can do that. Your words on video after video oh, and I know this looks hard, but believe me it’s so easy if you can do this stitch you’ve got this. You have helped me a lot.
