Thank you for the recipe. I tried and turn out lovely and I only need to bake it for 35nminutes in a 10x10 dark pan (baking time varies base on the oven type.). I add a little more vanilla for extra fragrance.. Thanks again for your step by step video. I am baking my 2nd cake but with glass pan and it take 45 minutes to bake .

Your video is good because it shows the equivalent measurements to cups and tablespoons/teaspoons. It is difficult for us to convert grams to other measurements all the time because we are more familiar with using cups and tablespoons. Many thanks for that!

Because all you egg cakes are like mind blowing, but the eggless ones aren't that remarkable (texture wise) so can you please post a eggless recipe that turns out exactly like your egg ones??? Tbh eggs do a lot texture wise for desserts so it’s hard to reach that perfect texture without them…. But if you want to make something more airy without eggs you could use vinegar and baking soda… you could also use aquafaba to replace egg whites. For egg yolks you could use soy lecithin. But again, it’s hard to get the texture that eggs provide from the alternatives
To bring color on the top of a cake it is required to bake it in a oven because oven have two heat source (top and bottom). If you bake it on flame in a vessel you have only one source of heat that is at the bottom for this reason it is not possible to bring lovely color on the top without oven. Hope you understand. Ngl… I cried a bit when they used a whisk to fold the stiff peak egg whites with the egg yolk mixture… use a spatula pls :) Also this looks delicious af and I’m definitely gonna try this!!!
