Just tried this recipe. It is DELICOUS! My husband couldn’t stop eating. It is healthy, simple, and mind blowing good. I am never dousing my chicken in olive oil and butter and bacon again, this will without a doubt become the new staple in my house
@@trongquan4074 : skin will be crispy because it is air dried the moisture out of skin by putting in the fridge UNCOVERED a overnight. Must bring chicken to room temp the next day before placing in PREHeated oven. Because it is spatchcocked , split in half , lots of air in the oven will move around the chicken to keep it crisp instead of moist. If it was baked whole , it will capture some of steam inside the cavity . That is why it was flatten chicken. Going to be making mine tomorrow for family dinner . The Honey brushed onto the skin is going to help Caramelize the skin . This is going to be YUMMM .
This looks so delish !! Will be making this tomorrow for a big family dinner …. It’s such a beautiful skin , using honey helps and for sure air drying in fridge overnight is the secret to making this with great texture. anything five spice is just very tasty … a crowd pleaser for sure ! Well done 👍👍👍👍 I am going to binge watch your channel to see what else I can wow my family with 😊. Thanks for this great tutorial!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
The same thing i was thinking, there's no way that chicken cooked in 45min unless that's a special rapid cook oven which cooks food faster..Its definitely not your everyday regular old oven and the chicken is small in size and skinny
Excellent recipe, thank you. I have 2 questions. What is the BRAND of your chef knife ? Amazon has hundreds of chef knives), and what is the ingredients in the 5 spice mix you use?. There are several different mixes that I can find
Nice shot. The chicken is beautifully done. I will try out the recipe. Thank you for the share. The small captions and the positioning to the left rather than the traditional centre, do not make it user friendly.
I have made this several times…. It’s always good even if you use a big chicken …. I just increase the salt and spices. Always tender with tasty skin . Excellent recipe
