Today Kevin is sharing his favorite cracker recipe. Sometimes you just feel like snacking and this recipe makes it fast and easy to have freshly baked crackers that are healthier than store bought alternatives.
Recipe:
1 cup oat flour (90 grams)
2 cups all purpose flour (198 grams)
2 tsp. salt (10 grams)
2 tsp. sugar (7.98 grams)
4 tbsp. oil (52.64 grams)
1 cup (may need a little more or less) hot water. (236.58 grams)
Roll out and bake at 425F ( 218C) for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and spray with oil and salt. You can also add toppings at this point. Put back in oven for at least another 7 minutes. After that check frequently until desired crunchiness is obtained.

***** About Living Traditions Homestead *****
Living Traditions Homestead is all about living a simple and sustainable way of life. We believe the world has gotten too “busy” and that people are missing out on many of the true blessings this world has to offer. We started as a small urban homestead in Gilbert, AZ and after the city grew up around us, decided it was time leave corporate America and take a big leap of faith by moving our family to the Missouri Ozarks.
We put out 5 new videos every week! Tuesday through Saturday. We hope you will become part of our homestead family by subscribing to our channel and watching as we transition from city dwellers to full time homesteaders!

I'm not even sure if you do this intentionally, but I super appreciate the kindness and all of your videos how you give different alternatives. Even how you say not organic is okay. Thank you for making us feel better when we don't have what might be considered the best ingredients or tools, and giving us alternatives. I just feel like in this age where there's so much consumerism your channel is so refreshing

Awesome on top of the wood stovetop slow cooked soup. It's fabulous that Kevin helps in the kitchen and Sarah in the fields, etc... My biological parents were farmers + careers. My father a Colonel in Air Force. My mom a botanist and wildlife scientist, I was born in the continent of Africa. After I was sent to 🇺🇸 with relatives , the patriarch of the family wouldn't step foot in the kitchen unless dishing out supersized bowl of ice cream. The "You Tube" kudos of the week goes out to the two of you for stepping in where help is needed the most.

@V Spook , Have a serious talk with your husband. I'm willing to bet that he would not mind cooking breakfast while you shovel the snow from the driveway ! However , I suspect that what you really want is for your husband to shovel the snow first ! And then come in and cook your breakfast as well .
