I hope your videos will be discovered by people from Poland and other Slavic - language countries. I love to watch your videos. I use the pause button all the time and "study" each sentence. It is incredible how similar our languages are. I hope I can come to Croatia and live there for a year or so. Knowing Croatian, even if it is only a passive knowledge is such a personal gain and enrichment for me that I would like to show it to other people too. If I ever had a chance I would study Slavic Languages. They are beautiful.

I have to agree with you. Slavic languages are beautiful. Very hard to learn, but nevertheless, very interesting. I hope someone will do Easy Slovakian because I hope I'll find some time to learn Slovakian. It's very similar to Croatian so I think it would be very easy for me to learn. When I was in Bratislava I didn't had to speak German or English cause it was very easy to communicate on our native languages. And yes, I also hope that you'll come to Croatia. I'm sure it would be great adventure for both of us :)

@@matobosnjak4816 They're not as hard as Hungarian or the Genitive case in Irish 🙂... but Croatian and Slovak are more charming to the English-speaking learner than Czech or Polish 🙂

Croatian language does not exist, this is the Serbian language originally with an accent a little different and nothing more than that.

Why not just call it Serbo-Croatian / Croato-Serbian?

I am a newcomer to studying Balkan languages, but from the little I've observed, it looks to me like Croatian has preserved some of the more ancient features of Slavic. For instance, the Serbians have adopted the standard Western names for the months of the year, whereas the Croatians use more ancient words like "sijecanj" instead of "јануар"--so which is the more ancient "language"?
