@@kimbrown9412hi there , I don’t think you got an answer but I found lots of tutorials on how to line the inside of a bag. For me it took a bit of practice with fabric or better yet now I found complete inserts with zippers in craft stores and if you measure out your bag beforehand it makes it even easier!

Yes, you can definitely use a cotton yarn for this project.

Yes, you can use a different yarn. But you might have to add additional rounds when making the square.
