I am so happy to have found this crocheted shawl pattern. Very easy tutorial to follow. I will be making this shawl as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter this year. Thank you.
Soooo I made a scrap blanket using this stitch and it’s become my 3 year old’s favorite... I showed my mother the blanket and how much I love the drape and how it’s warm but not too warm.... she is like “it would make a great stitch for a shawl” ..... looked it up and there you are!! The perfect person to walk me through this!!! I cannot wait to go and grab my yarn and stitch this up for my wonderful mother. I always know I can count on your videos to be clear and concise and I’ll end up with a beautiful gift!! Love to you from the United States! ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve made 2 of these scarves, using light weight yarn (3) , variegated cake, and a small hook (4) - Stunning ! So delicate looking but a very tight fabric, so warm ! Thank you for such an easy pattern that looks very La Te Da 💕
This is lovely! Your instruction is so clear and concise! And you always use the prettiest yarns! I love the flecks in the sample and the colors in your finished piece! Thanks for sharing! Pretty stitch!
Hat is such a pretty speckle yarn. I love the shawl you have made it looks so soft to the touch and the colors look soft as well. A nice sttch , a warm and yet still light weight look. Nice.
I love, love, love this scarf! I saw your post on Instagram showing this scarf. Definitely going to make this! Thank you for an easy tutorial for a beginner 🙌❤️
Do you have a written pattern available for this scarf/shawl? I really work better from a written pattern. Also saw you open your award from RU-vid. Congratulations! Hope you’re able to hit your next milestone with them quickly.
This is lovely. I've got some Lion Brand Cupcake and Baby Mandala yarns that might work well with this pattern, as similar yardage. Thanks so much, once again!
Such a beautiful scarf and yarn, meaning the yarn shown in the finished article at the start. I'll have to see if I can get some. Great tutorial as usual.
Not sure if it is affected by the yarn/hook size but the 3 chains at the turn made my top edge loose and almost ruffly. Reduced to 2 and it was a little tight ending the row but the top edge is much straighter
Love it!! Again another super tutorial and so easy to follow. Can I be cheeky and ask if you could do a c2c "join as you go " tutorial as some stage please? Thank you 😊
Blossom would you happen to have a moss stitch hat/beanie ? I’m making the scarf for my pen pal in a senior center and it gets a bit chilly in there’s this would be perfect for a matching set 😘
Hi, Im doing a small lap blanket in Malabrigo Rios its a 10 Ply Aran yarn but knits up in either DK or Aran depending on needle size. Malabrigo state Knit Gauge: 18.0 to 22.0 sts = 4 inches Needle Size: 4 - 5mm and Hook Size: 5.5-6.5 mm. Ive seen some examples using DK Yarn and a size 6mm hook to get nice drape with the Moss stitch i.e.not too tight, but not loose either.. So with the Malabrigo Rios should I go up to a size 7mm hook? You said go up a half size so should I use a 6mm given that Malabrigo suggest 5.6-6.5mm range?
I'm a little confused on this yarn I have it's the ice yarn and it shows knitting needles and it says 3-4 mm or 3-6 us my question is the 3-4 mm crochet needles or knitting needles thank you
That huge advert in the middle made my tablet stop working. Happens all the time with adverts. I lose the sound but this time I couldn't continue watching you.
RU-vid Premium will take out the ads. You get a free trial (I got mine for a month) and then a monthly fee. I didn't renew but when I get enough $$, I will reup. It cuts in video ads and home page ads.
This would be fine, if it were using the American stitch names. It is too confusing to have to translate every stitch from one nationality to another. I'll just look for a triangle scarf using American stitch designations.
I’m using U.K. terminology as that’s how I was taught, but I always give the U.S. stitch name at the beginning as well (you can hear the U.S. stitch name at 2:20). 😊 The difference in stitch terms can be confusing though! 🌸
Was very confusing for a beginner, could go a little slower and biggest thing would be to use a lil brighter yarn not white. Wasted my time and frustrated me 😠
