Easy Crochet Summer Shawl
Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel. This quick and easy crochet summer shawl is perfect for any level of crochet that you are at. It may seem a bit daunting to a few people but believe me when I say it is EASY!
You will need:
8 balls of Rico Design Creative Cotton Dk
5 mm crochet hook

This was such an easy pattern and did a shawl 66x25 with one pound of Caron yarn. I make prayer shawls and I crochet tight but i did did this with 7mm hook and started with sc foundation ch of 190. It turned out beautiful!

This pattern is beautiful! I’m practicing on some scrap yarn while I wait for my order to arrive. You explained this very well. Its easier that it initially looked to me. I did have to pull out Row 2 because of a mistake I made, but now I’ve got it! 😉 Thank you for this beautiful pattern and excellent tutorial!

Hey Carrie, do you have a book of your patterns? There are so many beautiful crochet patterns I am afraid if YT goes down I wont be able to get them. I would love to see a hard cover book sometime, I would surely buy it. I am not too much a fan of downloading patterns, old school I guess. Also, would you consider doing a longer finer weight cotton Duster for summer , pool cover up type thing. I know all your designs are top notch! Thank you so much.

As I am a crocheting, I notice mine is not as pretty as yours . I notice my chains are not the same. Some are big or loose and the others are tight. But maybe one day I can make mine prettier as I go along. Thank you again Ms. Carie, you’re an awesome teacher 🙏🤗😘🩷

I’m halfway through, using a 3 weight yarn and #5 hook like you, made 247 stitches like you, only to realize the length of the shawl is only 65” and not 80” !
