Easy crochet hanging SUNGLASSES CASE pouch! This crochet tutorial uses the shell stitch to create a very easy sunglasses pouch! Attach it to your car mirror or purse straps. You can use this as a regular pouch as well and makes a perfect gift!

Shell st Sunglasses Case Pattern:
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: Size 4, Medium Weight, 100% Recycled Cotton & Polyester Blend Yarn by Lion Brand Yarns Re-Up, Color: White.
Attach the yarn to your crochet hook using a slip knot.
Row 1: CH 15, turn.
Row 2: Starting in the 2nd CH st, place 1 SC in the BLO of each st in the row (14 total). Turn work toward your starting tail and then place 1 SC in the FLO of each st from Row 1 (this will create a spiral pattern with 28 SC st).
Rows 3 - 21: Place 1 SC in the BLO of each st in the row. Make sure to end your last row on one of the natural folds.
Row 22: Place 1 SC in the BLO of the next 7 st, then CH 40. Starting in the next st, place 1 SC in the BLO of the next 12 st. CH 4 and skip the next 4 st, then place 1 SC in the BLO of the next 5 st. Place 1 SL st in the next st.
Row 23: CH 1 then place 4 DC back in the current st. Skip the next 4 st, then place 4 DC in the next st. Skip the SC stitches that join your long CH loop, and place 4 DC in the next st. Skip the next 4 st and place 4 DC in the next st. Skip next 4 st and place 4 DC in the following st. This should put you at the hole. Skip the stitches of the hole and that join the hole, placing 4 DC in the next st. Skip the remaining st in the row.
Row 24: Place 4 DC in the gap between the starting CH 1 & 1st DC of the previous row. Skip the next 4 st that make up the 1st SHELL st, working in the gap BETWEEN the SHELL stitches, place 4 DC. Place 4 DC between each SHELL st in the row.
Rows 25 - 33: Place 4 DC in the gaps between each SHELL st. End on the gap before your next natural fold, then place 4 SC in the next gap between SHELL ST (this should be roughly near a natural fold).
Fold the shell stitches down over the sleeve you created in Rows 1 -21 so that the SHELL st rows are on top of the sleeve. Align the short edges together and join the last row of SHELL stitches using SL st.
Cut and tie off yarn.
Hide tail on the inside of the sunglasses case.
