Thank you for this pattern, I'm enjoying it very much. I'm noticing that my shawl is not straight across the top but rather the end points are turning towards each other. It's making a "C" instead of being straight. Do you know what I'm doing wrong to cause that?

When saying you 'start with a double knot' would please explain what and how you do it. I'm assuming you are tying the yarn onto the hook... but I'm not sure that's what you do.

yes I tie a knot then tie another knot that is the way my gram taught me
