Aww your daughter is absolutely gorgeous😍😍love the scarf, it's super cute and looks sooooo warm and snuggly on your beautiful wee Princess! Love your channel, I'm learning so much from you Thank You and Thank you for sharing another gorgeous pattern
Mandy you are too kind! This is what it is all about, learning from one another. I have a friend who wanted to crochet so bad and simply could not grasp it. Every time I make a video I think of people like her and how I can simplify it for them to also crochet something beautiful. These tube scarfs are my go to pieces for myself and my little one during the colder days.
@@humblehus Im a tad bit obsessed newbie to crochet lol your tutorials are a great help to me I can't Thank you enough!! The scarf is definitely on my to do list. Stay safe and Thanks again!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me!
@Finnley Kenneth I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I’d love to make one for my granddaughter who is 3.5,,, she adores the colour purple and yesterday I found purple in some fluffy “poodle” yarn so I’m lost on a stitch to do but I think standard DC would be fine. Not sure how long to give it a double turn around the neck though xx
Hi Lisa, thank you for watching. The yarn you have found sounds like something your granddaughter will enjoy very much. Poodle yarn and purple can it get any better? This is simply my opinion, but from my experience with the width of this tube scarf with your type of yarn a double turn is not necessary as this scarf lays very thick already around the neck. Hopefully this helps you get started, let me know if you have more questions. 😉
Hi. Thank you for watching. Great question! The increases at the bottom are so that when the child wears it (with those increases looking towards their torso, not their face), you are then able to stretch the scarf over their shoulders if let's say it gets chilly and you don't happen to have a sweater. Hope this explains it :)
Hello 👋 thank you for watching. Will you be doubling the yarn? (Using two strands), if so then it should work fine. Of course the type of yarn also makes a difference. For example a bamboo yarn tends to get heavy and lay flat as opposed to an acrylic yarn. Have fun with your project. My daughter still uses this scarf all the time, hope you love it too.
Hi and thank you for watching. Yes this will most certainly fit a 2-4 year old as I myself have borrowed this from my daughter. Perhaps if you make it a bit longer it could fit like a hood, but this size has covered my little one so well all around that we don’t use it like a hood. Not sure what yarn you are using which will have an impact on how it drapes and fits.
Thank you for watching! I believe I understand where the confusion comes from. In the video I say “for me that means 45 chains”. I am referring to what I am crocheting for my daughter while for you the watcher it might mean a different number depending on the head circumference you are making it for and the yarn you are using. I do not mean that I am making it for me. Hopefully this clarifies any confusion. Thank you for reaching out! Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with. I must say though I have worn this scarf in my daughters size and while snug, it keeps my throat nice and warm on extra cold days😉
