I cook my eggs in the air fryer, perfect every time and no clean up. Also peel so easy. 15 mins at 250. I was very skeptical at first so only did one egg the first time. Now I will cook no other way and you can cook however many you want at a time.
Instant pot for the win! Been doing it for about 4 years now and it makes peeling eggs a breeze! Gotta cook for 4-6 min depending on altitude and then quick release adding to ice water right away. The shells fall off the eggs like magic!
I agree! I HATE the peeling and mess. I was flooored by how easily they peel. I have a Foodie..almost the same thing. Does the pressure cook. I set mine for 7 min quick release then put in ice water as well. I like my eggs on the dry side.
Soy marinated eggs...pop peeled eggs into a covered container filled with soy, ginger, chili garlic paste, rice vinegar....overnight...slice and mix yolks with cream cheese, Mayo, sesame oil, salt and pepper..topped with snipped chives
When I cook my hard-boiled eggs and put them in cold water, I never peel them immediatly . I noticed that by keeping them in their shells in an airtight dish in the refrigerator, they kept much longer. I peel them as I eat them. so yummy the de il eggs 👌👌
Instant Pot with silicone egg bite molds, No peeling. Perfect every time. Place molds on trivet. Spray molds, crack eggs in mold. I found that 11 minutes high pressure with quick release. Remove molds with handled trivet. Let cool for short time then put a plate on top and invert. Just gently push on molds and they release quite well. For deviled eggs found better to slice horizontally. PRAMOO Silicone Egg Bites Molds and Steamer Rack Trivet with Handles for Instant Pot Accessories, 3pcs/set for 6qt & 8qt Electric Pressure Cooker with 7 Colorful Plastic Sticks on Amazon are the ones I use.
Loving the popper devil eggs idea. I always put dill relish in mine and use ground spicy brown mustard. Thinking about it, jalapeno mustard would taste great in the popper deviled eggs. Also, another good one would be horseradish, or wasabi for a different kind of deviled egg. So many possibilities.
I use dill pickle relish. About a tablespoon of onions. Onions diced very fine or grated. I use an egg cooker. Which I love. A must have if you eat boiled eggs all the time. Eggs always peel easily. It makes it so much easier. Mine is the Kalorik 7 egg cooker. A gift from my son.
Peel your eggs under running water and use very fresh eggs. It helps peel more easily. I also start with the eggs at room temp. Put the eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. Turn off the stove, cover and let sit for about 18 minutes. Fewer eggs will crack.
My mom's "famous Deviled Eggs" were just like your "traditional" recipe except with regular mustard instead of dijon and the KEY was garlic powder and onion powder for FLAVAH! She didn't use pickle juice and she did sprinkle on paprika and some chives when she had them.
To stop the green forming on the outside of the yolk from constant boiling, I put the eggs in the water before I turn the fire on. Then bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling, put a lid on it and remove it from the fire and let them cook in the closed pot for 15 minutes. Then do your ice bath and they come out perfect. (I also salt the water, but not sure if that helps anything).
My husband makes the best boiled eggs. Start with room tempeture eggs, then bring a pot of water to boil, add the eggs and boil for 5 min. Then shut off and leave sit for 25 min in the hot water. Then drain and add cold ice water. Change if necessary. Tip*. It helps to have older eggs. If you buy at the farm they might be too fresh for boiled eggs and might not peel as good. Store bought are usually older by the time you get them. Hope this helps !
Add some baking soda to the water...place eggs in pot, when it boils turn off burner and put on lid and let sit for 5 mins........use a teaspoon to remove shell...crack egg remove a bit of shell from bottom and run spoon under shell ............so fast and easy
I add salt and put a lid on my pan letting just a little air in the pan. Then I let them sit and cool. Run warm water over them while I peel them. Works every time.
I use my pressure cooker with one cup of water. Pressure cook high for 3 minutes natural release 4 minutes ice bath 5 minutes, never a problem with peeling!
Your method of boiling eggs is the best I have ever tried. I can't remember who I got it from but I have never boiled eggs any other way since. The shells come right off of the eggs. Love your channel... I just found you!
I use my instant pot ultra. Put a cup of water in bottom, put a dozen eggs in the two layer rack for that purpose. Put on the lid and set it to “egg”. When it is done cooking I turn it off and let the pressure release naturally. Then I remove the lid and let the eggs cool till I can move them to a carton. Let them cool so I can put them in the frig. I have NEVER had any problems with pealing them. Hard boiled eggs is the second most frequently done thing I do in my instant pot. God bless my instant pot!
The correct temperature in the instant pot. I did in the instapot before but I think I cook them a little too long but at 5 minutes for 12 eggs. They were perfect in the shells came off almost in one entire piece
I’ve done vinegar, but the 5,5,5 minute method in the instant pot is amazing. I love hard boiled eggs no matter what way you make then. Love your channel Dear ❤️
From the comments I think everyone dramatically overcooks their boiled eggs. Put them in cold water, bring to a boil, take off heat after 1 minute of boil and set aside covered. 4-6 minutes for softer yolks a little darker in the middle. 10-12 minutes for fully cooked. Rinse in cold tap water. Ice is overkill especially after cooking for 15 minutes.
Crack the thin membrane inside the shell of the boiled egg. Peeling the egg is easy after that. I use a Dash mini egg boiler. Does 7 at a time. Into cols water after cooking. Fairly easy process.
I just learned about cooking my eggs in my air fryer. I add them to an ice bath after and they peel fairly easy. Not perfect but better than what I was experiencing before when boiling them in water and an ice bath after.
Myra, you have to try this. Take your eggs, cover with cold water, add a sprinkle of salt. Bring your eggs to a rolling boil. Shut off the heat. Cover and time for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, empty hot water and rinse eggs under cold tap water. You can then peel. The shell should come off easy and the egg is fully cooked.
To peel eggs easily do just what you are doing the take one egg at a time and peel it in the sink with a light stream of cool water hitting the egg as you peel , water will get in between the shell and the egg and just come right off , it takes a little practice but works exellent.
For making hard boiled eggs i put eggs in pot pour water on it when water with eggs boiled turned off heat and leave for 10 minutes and from the beginning put lid on your pot after 10 minutes your eggs is ready just pour cold water and skin off i think is the best and easiest way for boiling eggs
Just made the regular ones. Yummy. I never thought to use pickle juice. I used Famous Dave’s spicy pickle juice and it just added the right punch. Thank you. Absolutely Delish!
I cook my eggs in air fryer set timer for 15 mins but i refer 17 mins i put them in cool water afterwards mind peel so easy so much easier than boiling them
Add a teaspoon of baking soda in the water first then eggs. They really peel easy . Drain off water from pan then shake vigorously. Fill with cold water, let cool and peel.
When we do deviled eggs. Ours is close to yours. Our mixture is mayo, very little regular mustard, finally chopped dill pickle and bacon bits. On top we would put hint paprika and cheese on top. One day i wanna try to make a perfect avocado one. Still haven't found the right taste for the blend.
Perfect timing Mayra! Now I gotta have some deviled eggs! I don't have one but my friends tell me those hard boiled egg appliances make peeling eggs a breeze, every egg, every time.
Hey!!! I LOVE your Chanel I have to say I cook PERFECT boiled eggs EVERY TIME,,, bring your eggs to room temp about 15-20 min, THEN bring your water to a boil and put eggs in...boil for EXACTLY 12 min, then dump water and drizzle in cold water while you add ice cubes, till pot is full, let "chill in ice and water for about 15 min... I PROMISE,,,PERFECT boiled eggs, EASY PEEL, EVERY TIME!!!!!!!!
Older eggs will peel easiest..... fresher eggs adhere to the skin between the white of the egg and the shell. My favorite deviled eggs? Hot mustard and horseradish mixed in with Mayo and spices of your choice.
Ice bath for my eggs. I was always under the impression that the peeling had to do with the actual freshness of the eggs but cant say sure. Sometimes it works....sometimes not. Jalapeno eggs for me! I would make this into an egg salad as well and serve on top of a bed of greens or in a low carb tortilla. Thanks for sharing.
@@LowCarbLove i have made the califlour faux salad. Stuffed peppers, the cheeseburger bake with the radishes and the cinnamon rolls. My husband actually thanked me today for the delicious meals. Can't wait to try all if them!!❤
Those jalapeño ones look tasty, I'm going to have to make some! My favourite is yolk, mayo, ranch salad dressing seasoning (the powered stuff) and bits of crispy bacon... Sooooo tasty 😋
I cook my hard boiled eggs in my ninja foodi . High pressure for 4 minutes, natural release for 4 min then into an ice bath. I peel mine under cold running water whole theyre still pretty hot. Shells come off amazingly easy sometimes in one piece.
Peel them under cold running water the water as it runs gets under the eggshell and seperates the shell and the facia tissue from the egg as You peel it . Crack and roll the egg on a hard surface first before You run it under the cold water and peel.
I have fresh eggs from backyard chickens which are a PAIN to peel...I’ve found that steaming eggs in about 1/2 inch of salted water for 10-12 mins makes them SOOO MUCH EASIER TO PEEL.
Pro tip- instant pot deviled eggs are INCREDIBLE. I like a softer yolk so I do 3 minutes, 3 minute natural release, then ice bath. They peel INCREDIBLY smooth. It comes right off.
BOILED EGGS: Put eggs into water on stove and let it build up to boil with the eggs in the water. Once boiling, start timer for 10 mins and after 10 minutes put eggs into ice water or just rinse under cold water for a few minutes. Perfect everytime. Note: Not sure if she PRE-heated the water and THEN put eggs into hot water for the video or if this is her method. My earlier version is a step easier and doesn't require putting eggs into the hot water.
I follow the technique from America’s Test Kitchen. Steam the eggs in a basket in a saucepan for 13 minutes. Immediate ice bath. Voila! Steam is hotter than boiling water which does something. I don’t know. Don’t care because it works. Mayo and Dijon with some Trader Joe’s bagel seasoning.
Hi , Mayra , can you show me how to make low carb ice cream. I struggle with sweets. So any low carb recipes for my sweet tooth 🦷 would be appreciated. Thank you
