The tutorial was great and I thank you for sharing! For a "Part 2," could you simply have a 10 minute video of your fur babies grooming and sunning in the basket? That was adorable and I didn't want it to end! LOL
I love this idea for more "sun time" for my kitty. My long haired cat, Bing is obsessed with laying in the sun. Your two kittens in that basket were so cute, love seeing them. Makes me think I need another kitten in the house again. I think Bing would be happy to have another sibling. I'm sharing your video on Facebook for my friends with cats. 😻😊
Fantastic idea. My cat doesn't care what it looks like & if anyone wants to say something they can keep there opion to themselves as long as my kitty is happy❗️❗️🙏🙏🙏🙏😉🐾
Thank you this is a great idea. I can't seem to think of a way to do this with the window open my cat likes to have the window open all the time... I live in a tiny house cabin and there's no way to anchor.
Looks great, for your babies. My three cats are all 14 to 16 yrs old, and fairly big... I would worry about the plastic getting shifted around or something. I had that exact basket, even the same color, for a bed... they flipped it over constantly, FIGHTING over it. I had to recycle it into another project. Besides, My window is totally wrong for this to work, it's 4 feet tall, six feet long, and slides open from one side, like a patio sliding door... Your idea did get me thinking, though. Maybe I'll just get some brackets and a board and make a shelf right below the six inch window sill...I can level it up with carpet scraps, and it will be nice and stable... hm....thanks!😊👍
Omg, I LOVE THIS!!! I can't believe I haven't found this channel earlier! You've got a sub for life in me- always looking to support my fellow cat people! 🤗💜🐈
Oh my goodness are they precious. Was the basket strong enough for the two of them to sit in it? It looked a little thin on the bottom so I was wondering about those plastic bins. How long did it last? That’s so cool.
I love this! I was thinking of maybe finding a metal basket. I know you said it lasted quite well but I don’t trust the rim on those plastic baskets - just one little weak point where the rope attaches might break. Or maybe figure out how to sling the rope under the whole thing to relieve pressure points? ❤️🐈⬛😎. Still a great idea!!!
Great idea but it would make my windows leak. With winters that are extremely cold, it just wouldn’t work, unfortunately. Thanks for sharing your idea. I’ll have to figure out another way.
This is the best idea yet! I am so thrilled and amazed. I was looking for something affordable but this exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for sharing this. 😊
So I live in a apartment building that was building the 1920 so I have really old windows that only go up and down how would one do this project for that
It has held my 17 pounder with out any sign of strain. As long as you tie your knots well, I don’t think it should be an issue and the basket size should still work too.
I think the rope she used would hold any size cat, but you may want to find a stronger basket for that big boy. You may be able to find one in a thrift store for just a couple dollars more, & it might look even more cute :) I think it's a really great idea, & it would work with any type of rectangular basket. She's so clever! I never would have come up with this!
I donated all the money (it’s not a lot being a smaller channel) to cat rescues and medical bills for sick cats. RU-vid picks the adds and how often, not me!
