I loved it! This is far the easiest and quickest way to have an Edwardian look, without curly hair and teasing and complicated things. My hair is very straight and I don't have the time to curl it every time. So thank you! 😘 I'm subscribing to your channel right now.
Normally when they say EASY HAIRSTYLES, you need a brush, hair ties, prayers, cement and a hairdresser. But this is literally the definition of the word easy
THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT??? oh my god it was this simple all the time, I'm so shocked, one question, where do you get the extra hair you put around your head??
I guess just buy a cheap wig and twist it and tape it off or smth (I won't go into detail cause I have a few solutions), you can get a elastic headband that's really big (or anything stretchy) and wrap hair extensions or your hair colour cloth until you get a thick enough band and secure with thread, sewing or hot glue idk, you can get a piece of foam and repeat the above idea at the second half (wrapping hair, secure with thread etc) and many more that you could probably improvise yourself. I would type out a more professional step by step but I'm tired and I don't think it's necessary.
This looks great! As a side note I wish period films would use hairstyles like this more often instead of having the female characters wear their hair down all the time
@@mechamicro A matting of hair strands (often collected from one's own hairbrush) used to add more volume to a hairstyle. Basically, the original Bump-It. Jajaja. She uses a rat in this video, but it's probably made out of cotton or synthetic materials, not human hair. Maybe...
Friends, Ever since my husband got a new hat he's been acting a bit strange. Could this be from his mobile transmitting spirits whenever he contacts his friends?
My hair is naturally stick straight and all the way down to my wrist. I love to wear my hair in a Gibson! Thank you for showing us this wonderful Style!
I have long hair and went to a stylist for this. I wish I had seen this because I had so much hairspray and bobby-pins for days. It was so difficult to clean and brush out afterwards. Great job😍
I have long hair too. So long that I can sit on it ( all natural ). It’s so much work! But it’s worth it, because it’s so beautiful when it’s styled. This video inspired me even more! ❤️
I am currently growing my hair out. Your beautiful hair has made me realize that I made the right choice! I haven't cut it for about 3 years now. I used to dye it, bleach it, cut it, razor it, thin it, you name it, I've done it. But your healthy hair really shows me what I'm looking forward to!!
Wow, what a transformation! So impressed. I have kinky hair, but this makes me think about doing it elegantly, reading books next to a candle, talking to my sister about eligible bachelors, going horseriding... 😂😂😂
I honestly read that and thought Edward scissorhands. I thought it was gonna be some barber thing. This is much better. Victorian hair. Quite beautiful.
We called this hairstyle as the " Gong" because of its shape. We usually use this for the harvest festival well usually just for the pageant contest here in North Borneo😃..
As a kid who LOVES very old fashioned things in the 16 through the 19 Century (any year before 1920, basically) . I Really love the outfits, hairstyles, house furniture, and more!
Gorgeous, but really, take a few extra moments to tuck those ends in, they would never be left out like that. It is also entirely possible to roll the entire length of hair around the donut, using the sock bun method. This would result in tucked in ends and a larger bun!
Goodness gracious! I most ardently thank you, miss! I had to attend the most vibrant party of the social season and could not, for the life of me, construct a hairstyle so elegant and convenient. With this, I am sure to upstage that wretched Miss Sinclaire! Many thanks!
I would never cut my hair. Because I wouldn’t know what style or cut I want, and I know I would regret it the next day ( speaking from experience ). It’s very long.
I have super long hair so I think it’d be a little hard to get it to look like that but all in all who misses when girls would dress like this? Very modest and put together. If I could I would go back to this!
I crack up when she looks through the hair ring, and makes eyes/face, and same when she puts on the pony tail band, flops the hair down, and again, the face! Obviously enjoying herself and having fun! It's fun to see her having fun! And, the end result is cool as heck!
Ese peinado ya estaba de moda en la época victoriana, más que todo en la década de 1890. Cuando acabó el siglo y empezaron los 1900's aún se usaba muchísimo, especialmente desde 1910.
I have very long and thick hair. But I am awful at putting my hair up into styles like this. I would end up with a huge mess on the top of my head. But you did that so neatly and beautifully. 😍
It's often made of one's own hair, collected from the hairbrush! But, you can buy human or fake hair, and probably even preformed "crowns" like this. Hair rats were quite popular in years past.
