I'm getting close to a year of learning guitar and I'm still struggling. This looks simple but I find it difficult. I still don't really know much about music theory nor do I know much of the open chords. I've been recently trying to focus on open chords.
Hey man! This is honestly somethiing id learn after getting the basics down. Start with a C Chord (like in the video) and pluck the 5th string with your thumb, the 3rd string with your index, the 2nd string with your middle finger, and then the 1st string with your ring. Do one by one slowly and at a super slow steady tempo. Once you get the muscle memory for that basic pattern then I'd go to something like this after. Don't give up its all muscle memory and repetition
@@amosmoorer5624 that’s really good advice. I’d like to see more of that on RU-vid, using the terminology and description you used. I get lost when they start saying, “ you add melody by playing an open string string, then add variations on …” .Any more easy tips we could use?
