Hi Lauren. I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer March 2019. I had my last chemo treatment this past February. I was looking for hairstyles for short hair (I have always had long hair) and I came across your video. @pam Bilateral her2 er stage 2 grade 3 2023. My hair doesn't want to grow. It has finally reached three inches but still seems to break and come out again. so frustrating. I had long hair too. How is your hair growth now? @Lauren, thank you for the great video. I just got some rhinestone bobby pins to try to look nice at Easter.
When my sisters hair grew back after chemo is was super curly. She had always had straight hair, so it was surprising. After a few years, her hair returned to its normal texture.
No chemo here, but I shaved my hair off last year and my hair is at this stage of growth, my hair is straight on top and super curly in the back. It bothers me lol, idk what to do with my hair anymore
Okay no joke ever since I first saw this video I've been doing the hat trick EVERY. DAY. It is a LIFESAVER. I now have a cute collection of caps that look so cute with the little pigtails! TYSM!

It’s been 6 months of hair growth for me after my BMT and my texture is so similar to yours! The length is very mullet like right now which is how I found your page and I’m excited to try these out!
Okay this helped so much! My hair is at a weird length after growing out from my pixie cut. I had no clue how to style it and it was making me mad. This helped so much!
My last chemo was at the end of October 2023. My hair has grown back super curly. I use a head wrap at night on dry hair. This seems to help flatten down the wild curl pattern and keeps it from sticking up at crazy angles. I also try not to brush it to much as that seem to create a frizzy effect. Thanks for giving us surviors real time help with our chemo curl issues. God bless you.
First of all, you're an absolute doll. I haven't had to go through chemo, but I had an impulsive emotional breakdown at 3am one night and chopped off all my hair. Silly me. Its been tough to figure out how to style it, but you're right. Bobby pins have been my best friend. I'm really excited to try out a head scarf and get some cute hair clips to do some of those styles. Thank you for sharing, girl!
Thank you for doing this! I always had long curly hair until I lost it all with chemo....and have had truly no idea how to style short hair, so this is really helpful! I am at about this length and same curly in the back, straight up top/front texture.

i have collected scarfs since i was a child, 50 plus years of them, grandmothers, moms you name it, i get them at resale stores and 1 dollar shops, i have tons, thanks for reminding me, about that, love my scarfs for the hair, it used to be my trademark, when i had really long hair, and i forgot about them, thanks, love you girl, you are great,i had cancer but thank God no chemo, my mom did but i didnt have to, bless your heart,

Suzanne here, bless your heart, i lost all my hair when my son died in jan of 2022, stress dr said of course, so i can relate to a horrible thing, for you, your hair is adorable, i had mine buzz cut, so it is taking a lot of time to grow out, so i took some advise and used coconut oil and it WORKS, for stress related fall out, too cute, love you girl, mines about 3 inches long now, in a short time, so i am using bobby pins and clips, and twists, its kinda fun, till it grows back to shoulder length, again, God bless you sweety!!!!!!!

You have beautiful hair! My hair is pin straight in the top but it is wavy in the bottom. The hair scarves were my favorite hair style! I love using head scarves and head bands. I have a big collection of head scarves and head bands. 🤗
Thank you so much. I lost my hair from emergency brain surgery and after it began to grow back I had complications and had to have it two more times I now have about 2 inches of hair and I’m really concerned for the awkward stages
I never experienced chemo however I had to go through a lot of CAT scans and MRIs. Like one a week for a few months. And I noticed that random spots on my headHave wiry hair. My hair is usually pin straight . I wonder if it will end up being curly. I know anesthesia and radiation from imaging tests can damage your hair texture so it is what it is but I do hope it ends up looking cute like yours 💕
I'm growing out my hair after a pixie cut and my hair naturally curls at the bottom, so I hope this helps me tmrw! (I have school TOMMOROW so I hope I can look like I have more girly hair lmao).

Straight hair in front and wavy at the back is completely normal I haven't been diagnosed w anything I'm having this hair texture since like more than 5-6 years
Kind of off topic but i gink its too cute not to share. When i was little my mom used to do my hair. And very often i asked for those little buns and we called them 'ogre/shrek buns' cause they kind of looked like shreks ears. (In german tho 'oger/shrek zöpfechen'). And i just think thats so cute :)

I am growing out a pixie and I have been doing the tiny pony and little buns forever bc the hair in my face drives me NUTS. Sadly, they definitely aren't as cute on me 😆
