❤️ SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/divascan... Easy, creamy, sweet & tart key lime pie! I start craving this pie right around this time every year! It’s so easy to make and the perfect ending to a summer dinner.
Feel free to add in a couple of egg yolks if that’s your thing. If so you’ll need to bake it a bit longer. I prefer it without because I just love that light as a feather texture!
If you’re in the mood to stay from the classic, add in some toasted nuts to the crust and a pinch of coconut extract to the filling!

If you're using regular Persian limes instead of key limes trying adding some fresh lemon juice. It gives it that special key lime tartness/flavor. I've been doing it for yrs.

This is a great recipe. I was a little skeptical due to the lack of eggs and short bake time, but thought to myself that the use of sour cream is a really good idea. The texture is just amazing once finished. Thanks for posting this.

How many hours does the pie have to sit in the fridge? For instance, I’d rather wake up at 5am to make the pie and let it sit in the fridge until that evening. So “overnight” isn’t very specific.

Bake and no bake is the same ingredients and it tastes the same so why use the oven? Why not just chill it in the fridge and skip the baking?

Just made this. Finding that after 10 mins if I poke down the middle it’s still slightly wet but I didn’t want to burn it so I took it out and just set it in the fridge.

Baking it for a short time really brings all the flavors together. I made the lime pie, but next time I couldn't get any limes out here in the sticks and used lemons and it came out great. I was a little short on lemons and used one orange and that gave a nice little subtle touch. Of course your original version is the classic and best. Your recipes are full of little techniques that help in other dishes too. Thank Monique!

GIRL I HAVE TO try this one out too, love key-lime pie, make them all the time (especially when my grocery store have real Persian key limes), I love homemade key lime pie but I HAVE NEVER made them with sour cream but I will next time because girlll you have NEVA stirred me wrong ever, yeah thank u Monique but for now I gotta check on my 5 flavor pound cake I have baking RIGHT NOWWW ummm yeah no joke.......

My first time making this pie and it's delicious 😋 I didn't know the difference between using eggs or not to use them. Going forward this will be my go to recipe, and will never use eggs. I also used limes, and true key lime pie lovers still said it was good.

Roman R I make mine and I don’t bake it before I serve it I put it in the freezer like couple minutes, my family loves it. The lemon firms up the filling that’s why it doesn’t stay too liquidity
