love, LoVe, LOVE pasta salad ... this Southern girl (with Yankee roots) likes to add celery, radish and peas (I use frozen) ... but any way you prepare it, it is a great side dish, or perhaps an entree, for any meal !!!
So darling I’m 65 .... never ever have I had macaroni salad with cheddar cheese cubes. Well this granny is going to try it. For me it’s Hellman’s all the way. Now I’m curious how do you make potatoe salad Maria in 🇨🇦
New subscriber today! Your succulent planting came up on my feed, which led to your mulching tips, and had to check out your macaroni salad! You are adorable, and I look forward to enjoying the rest of your videos! Katie in South Florida 😎
I enjoyed your cheerful presentation.....and you inspired me to make the Mac salad again....after having not made it in years. I utilize sooooo many chopped veggies whenever I make anything....so thank you. I wrote down all your suggestions. And subscribed. Please keep on sending videos!!!! Ahna Atlanta/Georgia
Kaleb, I made Macaroni Salad this morning. I need it for a luncheon today. I make most of my condiments including Apple Cider Vinegar, Mustard, and Mayo. I cannot make Mayo as good as Duke's makes it. It is the best, by far.
I'm so hungry for macaroni salad, haven't had any since finding out I have celiac disease last May, so I'm going to have to get some gluten free macaroni, and see how it turns out.
Fantastic! I have been really enjoying all of your videos! I’ll definitely have to give this a try. I love the presentation of your video. You make it look easy! I also make cooking videos for RU-vid. I love to learn from talented creators like you!
I rinse my pasta for all my salads, but not for more savory dishes like spaghetti. I love all these ingredients and can’t wait to try them together. You piqued my interest by adding the Greek yogurt! I’m a new follower and I’m loving your channel and your fun energy! Thank you!
I'm a 50+ viewer. Never comment. Midwest raised. My mother used this recipe for her kidney bean salad. I seem to recall that her macaroni salad had celery in it and she lightly dusted it with paprika. Either way it looks phenomenal.
Made this yesterday. This is a delicious recipe. The dressing is pretty outstanding. I will make and use this dressing recipe for the next time I make cole slaw.
Looks yummy! Have been making and eating pasta salad for decades (LOTS of them) and never before encountered cheese in it. Will be trying THAT this weekend
Hi Kaleb! It seems like summer in the Northwest is very slow coming! But your delicious looking Macaroni Salad, Turkey Burgers, and Hamburgers says summer for sure!! Must try them all!! Grilling is the thing for summer cooking...and you have nailed it!! Yummo!!
My mom always rinsed her pasta no matter what she was making. It was delicious and never "ruined" anything. She made a fantastic spaghetti and meatballs. If you want the starch rinsed off then rinse it off it's not going to ruin it. I don't get all the salad recipes including sugar, honey anything sweet however. YUCK! I guess whatever your tastes are but nothing sweet will EVER go in any of my salads.
I always run cold water on my noodles when I make noodle salads. I add oil to my water to keep my noodles from sticking to pan n to each other while cooking.
Loved this recipe but 2 questions. First 16 oz of Mac, does that mean 16 oz cooked or dry? I used 16 oz dry Mac and it made the recipe dry once cooled in my opinion.
I put green pepper in mine I never put relish in mine . What does the relish do to give it flavor. I like relish but never thought to put it in macaroni salad.
