- the army painter brown battleground sand
- the army painter meadow flowers
- the army painter woodland tuft
- the army painter lowland shrubs
- vallejo diorama fx earth texture, dark earth
- cayway misni afure miniature leaves
- mod podge
- vallejo matt varnish

Hi Lemmi, tufts come in so many variations. I sometimes airbrush or drybrush a color that I want over them to tone them in accordance with the model's base or board tones. You might want to try it if you don't like the colors of the grass or leaves etc. Some small rocks on the Goblin base I think would accent it. The Rohan and Rangers look great. I'd like to see how you paint the Rohan shields with those little horses. Why do you work on a soft rug? Does it help? Thank you for helping out. Mikey V.

I have not really heard of painting the tufts before! I will have to try this out! And I use an old towel to paint on so I can quickly dry my drybrush brush on it if I need to drybrush alot of diffrent colours. It also just is a soft spot for me to rest my hands on while painting. I have a slight disability that makes it impossible to hold my left hand up close to my face so I lean on that towel pretty hard 😊
