www.vladtv.com - Famed producer Easy Mo Bee opened up to VladTV about working with both 2Pac and B.I.G. during their highly-publicized East Coast/West Coast beef. When asked about where he stood, the Brooklyn-born emcee said that he made it a point to stay professional and neutral in the situation.
The Grammy award-winning producer also spoke about working on B.I.G.'s "Going Back to Cali," and Mo Bee revealed that his plan for the track was to create some unity and "get everybody on one accord," not further any beef.
During the conversation Easy Mo Bee also spoke about his relationship with 2Pac, which started after they met backstage at an event in 1992. He later called Pac a "smart dude" and he also admitted to having lots of unreleased tracks from the legendary emcee hidden away.
Check out more of what Easy Mo Bee had to say in the above clip.

the media should take all the blame for the East/West beef. Suge had issues with Puffy but he ran with the E/W thing when he saw how much attention he got for his comments. BIG had more beefs in New York(Nas, Chef and Ghost, Prodigy, Jeru, OGC) than he did out west(Pac, E-40). They ignored guys like Mo Bee, Meth and Red, Canibus, Dogg Pound, Lost Boyz, Too Short, Dr Dre, working on both coasts Snoop publicly admitted to wanting to stay a friend of BIG and working with him They ignored how the Outlawz were all basically from NJ, how Pac still had friends on the east(Buckshot, Smif-n-Wessun, Nice and Smooth, Big Daddy Kane) Or how Pac wanted to form Amaru Records and basically make an east coast version of Death Row aka his One Nation project and he wanted both coasts on there: Outlawz, Raekwon, Ghostface, ODB, Kane, Boot Camp, Quik and Johnny J, Dogg Pound/LBC Crew, Spice 1 etc.

Much props to this dude. People undervalue the ability to remain professional through all the bs, especially in that line of business. When you work with somebody, especially someone that has helped your career, people have the tendency to feel overly loyal. You can be loyal to someone, but not to their personal beef. As a professional you have to find that dividing line. However, if you take this approach, then don't get into it with them as to what the beef is, what was it about, who was involved, and why you should feel a certain way. If you are there for business, then you need to let them know that you are just there for business, to make money, you don't even want to get into that. You don't do that.

Who is better? Depends on who you ask.....If you're a lyricist type of cat, traditional hip-hop head who understands wordplay and what emceeing is about then of course Biggie by miles. If you're a mainstream listener who doesnt care about lyricism, dont understand hip-hop, and just want an emotional rush, and want to hear relatable street stuff then Tupac. They are 2 different rappers rapping for 2 different audiences.

DJ J Grilla Absolutely! Aside from Pac and Biggie, he worked with another legend in Mr. Miles Davis on what would be his final album, the Grammy-winning "Doo Bop." Mo Bee's in that category with Battlecat and Deric "D-Dot" Angelettie, in that he has a versatile sound that escapes signature (outside of the previously mentioned drums). It's quality work that he puts out on all corners. The original "My Block" from the soundtrack to "The Show" was such a beautiful record, and Pac really shined on that one as a storyteller.
