I met Greg Nice on 150th & 8th during Rucker tournament in 2000 & he was every bit as real and sincere. 2Pac forever the greatest because he respected the pioneers and uplifted the culture.

Pun loved Pac's movement and music too, he cited Pac as a heavy influence (mentally, not lyrically) on numerous tracks around 98/99. "See that, I'm like G Rap, Pac, Master P..."

I am sure he all missed the Dominicans, Cubans, Trinidadians, Jamaicans something you won’t find in the west coast. The reality is Tupac is a native New Yorker, Harlem to be exact. If you think about it most of these so called west coast rappers are really from from the east coast, here is a few: -Shock G (Digital Underground)-NYC native-Brooklyn/queens. -Kurupt-Tha dogg pound-Philadelphia native -DJ Muggs-Cypress Hill-Queens, NYC native -Young MC-NYC native -Ice T- Newark, NJ native Just to name a few I am sure i can add to the list but these west coast dude may get saltier. In the words of Blah zhay blah zhay: when the east is in the house...NYC/east coast all day every day. Home of the real spitters. The reality is once and east coaster always an east coaster it’s in your dna it does not matter if you live in Cali or in some other state your roots are always in NYC/Jersey. Don’t forget pac’s roots were so embedded in NYC/Jersey with his family, friends and the OUTLAWZ (JERSEY all day). He just said he claimed Oakland to make you dudes feel a little better about yourselves but probably really did not mean it. Think about it movies like Juice and above the rim (NYC) movies that made him, not no west coast movies.
