7 reasons why the nobles slender sword is the best weapon in the game. 1. it has the Longsword moveset, which is the best moveset. Forget those penniless pretenders with their fancy weapon arts, explosions, teleports and all that voodoo. You are nobility. Your puissance is yours alone, your weapon is just an accessory to that. 2. It is looooong. A whole peasant's hand longer than those filthy longswords the soldiers use. Long weapons have long hitboxes. Poke your dissidents before they can dirty your attire. Then laugh at them for being poor. 3. It gets top of the line in Dexterity scaling and takes exceptionally well to elemental infusions, for those with discriminating taste. Strength builders can even get it up to A, just please use Soap first. As if you were the type to get into fisticuffs anyway - that's what summons are for! 4. It has 110 crit modifier, because people who parry a lot are just better than everybody else. Backstabbing, too, is very appropriate for a nobleman. 5. It has rock bottom requirements. Even your noodly-armed Astrologers and Bandits can pick it up right away, without wasting points in Strength like a pack animal. Being an aristocrat is easy. 6. It looks absolutely balling and is a necessity in any fashionable build. Forget the gauchely decorated Roger's Rapier with its inhuman Dexterity requirement, it just smacks of new money. This refined, elegant weapon is coated in the timeless glamour of gold, conveying the splendor that is yours by birthright. 7. It is an ultra rare drop from the few enemies who carry it. You can farm for hours, grinding hundreds and thousands of Nobles into paste without ever seeing it. Only the luckiest and most privileged aristocrat-killers may own this opulent deathstick That's you. You won. Congratulations, winner.
Worked excellent! Was able to farm 2 in about 15 min at 10 arcane using silver pickled foul foot. PS there’s one noble all the way at the back with a hat on and a feather in it, don’t kill him if you are low level, he’ll turn into a troll with a giant flaming sword and kill you. He drops a larva tear but is a pita at low level.
Glad it was helpful, on my 3rd playthrough I had no plans on using this weapon and I got 2 just from lucky drops in the Academy. RNG loves to tease us.
i think theres only 2 or 3 there that drop the sword, the rest are other variants including the estoc one which also seem to have 2 or 3, and theres one mage.
I figured out that the giant is tied to only 1 of them, the one with the hat. I'm able to kill him last while farming and then respawning at a grace before the giant can fully spawn.
Took me 5 minutes as a level twenty with no bonus to drop rate. Second clearing of the mobs by the coffins. Just have to be careful of the one that turns into a giant. It is wearing a cap so save it for last and be ready to run back and reset right away because it will one shot you.
You can use the horse and a long range option to get the giant to follow you all the way to the dragon who can kill it for you. You'll get a larval tear and a safe farming spot.
@@JotaFla bloody slash on both swords, leveling Dex and Arcane almost evenly, shit slaps hard. Frankly, I stopped playing that file because it was just crushing all content and got boring.
@@logantait11387 I see, nice! My char is like a Ranger build, so I thought dual wielding that and pairing with the black bow, focusing mainly on the bow so I think won't be that cheesy for me, but I'm definetly trying that, thanks!
Unfortunately your level doesn't seem to change or effect any of the drop rates. All items have a set drop rate and arcane is one of the few things that can help increase it. The others are the silver pickle, mimic tear helmet that boosts arcane, silver scarab talisman, and I think marikas scarseal increases arcane aswell but boosts the amount of damage you take by 15%. I may have forgotten a few. So otherwise you're just getting lucky, which is always awesome😂 Some people with low arcane can get lucky too. Which is always a fun time. But generally with higher arcane, farming will be much more productive and less time consuming. Especially using all the other items that boost item discovery.
I recommend boosting your item discovery before doing this. was trying for about an hour and no catch until i boosted my discovery using a silver-pickled fowl foot
My first time grinding for the nobles estoc too me nearly 30 minutes. I wanted to dual weild them so the next grind I acquired a LOT of noble slender swords in the process. Took two hours to get the second estoc. Good thing I got a lot of slender swords too. My second profile I'm getting more estocs and I'm trying to get the slender swords
i think people confuse the noble estoc with the slender sword causing them to farm less enemies for a longer time leaded to such a bad farm. I found myself doing this until i realized, this is the best spot because all 7 of them carry the weapon.
A quick warning for those who first came to these area There's 1 wandering noble will transform into a giant troll with flaming sword when it die That wandering noble is the one who sit next to a cliff
Yep this is the spot pissed away a bunch of time in limgrave at the caravan by waypoint cellar to get estocs found this video and got it on my first try here😂
@@xxANBUxx Yes they do, I just got tired of that spot and wanted to do a quick count over the world and see if anything was better or comparable maybe less known. Rampart path is good for passive farming between Co-op because it's 5 feet away from the Grace. I got one today randomly on like my 2nd attempt there. Snowfield was a dud but also hard to search. Altus mostly a dud except for Rampart little gem but it's a big map to search I wish I had whatever modders use and I could just search the map for every monster-id of the Soldier Wandering Noble. If anyone has that, hit me up!
Still working. With 82 arcane and the silver foot thing got it first time and first guy I downed lol. Also got a silver larval tear I had never found before, since one of the guy turns into a giant
I must have luck on my side. I was planning to farm this spot all night on my lvl 22 character (I do random coop summons to help players with the early bosses). So went to this location and put up my summons and start to kill these dudes, 3rd refresh at the nearest grace it ended up dropping lol.
