Strolling Through Life yes! I like making oat milk bc it is cheaper than making coconut milk. I like the presentation of your video! Very cool thanks for sharing! New subscriber 😊
I just made this for coffee creamer. Added 1/4 cup of walnuts, and 4 dates to sweeten instead of maple syrup. Poured it into my coffee creamer bottle and stuffed a cinnamon stick in there. It doesn't taste like cinnamon yet but it should in a day or two. I taste tested it on my 6 year old and they loved it!
I made this, but since I don't have a blender, I used my food processor. I used two cups of water in the processor with the oats, dumped them into a container, then whizzed the remaining cup of water to clean up the blades and bowl, then added it to the rest of the milk. Super-easy!
Every oat milk recipe I've tried, including this, use WAY TOO MUCH oatmeal and the next day it's like pouring the thickest whipping cream. Cutting it in half helps (half cup oats to 4 cups water) but it is still very thick.
Great video! I'm gonna have to try this. And I can relate to using plastic products. We need an Elon Musk kinda person to really crack down on solving our recycling problems
Sandra Sandiford I think it should still work. I believe the minute oats are just more chopped up. But, I’ve only tried the recipe with rolled oats. Hope that helps!
Meanwhile Australia mines tons of coal like China ,America carries on as usual ,Britain's getting into fracking as long as it's not near London but everything will be ok as long as we buy less plastic and sort our waste , but the recipe looks nice and easy long as u have a good blender thanks
So how is yours not slimy and too thick? I have a Blendtec and I need to find out which setting and for how long. Also, is it really necessary to soak them at all? I keep hearing conflicting info on all of this and I don't know what to do.
Profit Glen I, personally, will barely soak them or not soak them at all. When I soak them for a long time, they get pretty slimy. I’ve just learned from trial and error. Hope that helps!
I've heard that Rolled Oats are Steamed, so they're already cooked. You're just soaking them to reduce the Slime amount. The Phyto-chemicals should already be gone? After steaming, are the Oats just dried or rinsed too? Thanks for your energetic video. Were you using a VitaMix Blender?
Cesar Morales I’ve never tried it with quick/ instant oats, but it’s worth a try. The biggest difference from rolled oats is that the quick oats are more processed and don’t retain as much water. Let me know if you try it!
Could you please just make a video without all of that virtue signaling. It's almost like if I see someone under 30 On a video I won't tune in anymore. Will you be going to a black lives matter protest after this video?
