Patio looks so much better now that it blends in with the deck color.

That was a great idea to paint the ceiling of the back porch to match your house; really ties things together well. I like the stained patio very much and with the rug it will be great. Having lived in Florida for quite a number of years and owning an in-ground pool that was my "job" to clean it, lol - maybe these tips will help. Every single day I just brushed the bottom and sides of the pool down with a pool brush. Only took a couple minutes but made a HUGE difference in pool upkeep because anything that starts growing on the bottom and walls needs to be removed from those surfaces to be filtered properly. I probably cleaned the large cartridge filter every 1 1/2 weeks or so. I checked the ph at minimum twice a week, usually more - and ALWAYS the day after a rain because that additional water in the pool would change the ph quickly. After adding chemicals, I'd always brush the bottom and sides of the pool to stir those chemicals up and get them swirling around to do their job. Doing those steps helped me not to have to vacuum the pool as often as other people did. Hope that helps, and you and your family had a lovely Easter.

I gasped when I saw the bird's nest and eggs! Do you think they're robins (just guessing based on the egg color). Those sunglasses look great on you. I'm working on painting the exterior of the front door. Same color as before - Bering Wave from Behr. It's a beautiful dark greenish blue. Now I think I should paint the ceiling of the front stoop a haint blue that would coordinate!

The stain on the patio and the paint on the ceiling were great ideas! I have a pool question…what size is your pool, and did you upgrade to a sand filter from the regular type that usually come with these pools? I have a round one also, am deciding about changing to a sand filter. Thanks!

I got a different model pool vac by the same company last summer and it works great! Hope yours does as well!

Did you use a cleaner in your power washer when you cleaned the cushions??

You could have added painters tape then paint over so it would look like they are boards
