We do this with cherry pie filling only no oatmeal. I can’t find the Jiffy cake mix around here any more. I can use cake mix but usually I only need half so I get 2 from each box. I have some apple pie filling left that I didn’t use all of and I’m going to try this and add some oatmeal to it.

Oh my goodness! I've been making that for years, as taught to me by Grandma. We call it dump cake! We make it using any kind of fruits we can get our hands on! It's a favorite with the guys and we use a yellow cake mix just like you unless we can't find him anywhere we'll use whatever we can. I even fake it the same type of dishes you 350 about 30 minutes! This is so funny but I'm glad you shared it with your watchers. I've just always loved the name dump cake but any fruit works! 😊
Just found your channel and LOVE it. Have you done this in mason jars? I'm thinking a blackberry crumble where the crust/cake is oats, butter, and brown sugar. Any comments/thoughts?
