I am not keen on pastry so this would be ideal for me, when cooked in a greased dish.

I make a crustless version of this. Just mix 1/4 cup of Bisquick in with the eggs and pour over gently the rest of it gently so as not to move it all around. It bakes up fluffy with no crust. Also good with chicken chunks, broccoli and cheddar for a non breakfast version.

My mom used to make something like this when I was a young girl but she called it egg pie it was soooooo good and this dish looks just as good will try this weekend thank u and have a good day

A quiche is what I fix for Christmas morning with ham, cheese, and previously sautéed onions. When we lived in England for a year I enjoyed quiche with cauliflower, mushrooms and spinach in it as well. I also like to place sliced tomatoes on the top before putting in the oven. I made the yesterday and it was easy and tasty. I sautéed onions in my sausage and used Swiss/Gouda cheese blend. It was great!
