Tried and failed. Followed the recipe exactly. I even did steps that he didn't show like drain the zhuccini of water with paper towel. It turned out runny, soggy pastry on the bottom and hard vegetables. It was disgusting.

@@Highwind452 Was the oven on the correct setting? It needs the bottom heat element on, with the dish placed at the bottom of the oven, so the heat is concentrated on the bottom.

@eb Ka filo is debated as everything else, however has been described being used since ancient Greece where they use to stretch out bread very thinly and bake it cover it with honey and nuts... The ansestor of baklava... But like everything in this world it evolved with the century's into filo or yufka.

I made it with pumpkin and broccoli. Baked 190 degree C 20 minutes. Come out with burn filo sheets and uncooked in the middle. So I continue to baked at same temperature with under heat only for 10 minutes. Finally my quiche come out perfectly cooked. Thank you Jamie for the beautiful recipe.

I just made a variation of this. My first time ever making quiche. I used shortrust pastry as I couldn't get hold of filo. I used mushrooms instesd of courgette and instead of sundried tom puree I used cherry tomatoes cut in half. I also used white onion instead of red. I didn't grate the veg, just cut up very finely. I also used smoked paprika as an extra seasoning. Basically I changed the recipe quite a bit lol but you inspired me to make this and I can't believe how easy it was! Thank you Jamie! You make healthy tasty food so easy!!

I made this; it was a real moral boost to bake something so quick, so easy but so yummy! I thought I should cut those florets in half so they cook through, and I think I was right!!! Thanks Jamie! for an inspiring recipe.

Just watched you on Australia’s Masterchef season 4 (2012) - binge watching up to season 9 (watched 1,2,3 & 10 - haha!) & ahh.. the way the girls loved on you & found you such an inspiration just made me proud you’re British Jamie! Good on ya! Definitely giving this a go. Makes me weep when I see people throwing the stalks of cauliflowers & broccolis away, if I could buy a bag of them I would; my favourite bit!! Xx

I watched Jamie’s cooking shows since Naked Chef. Can u imagine being a fan of a chef, a cook for more than 2 decades now 😁 You used to have pots of herbs 🪴 at your kitchen where you will grab it and chop. I remember seeing that and after many years later, when I’m a bit older, I have my own pots of herbs. Growing up with show was one of the best memories. Here I am now living in Yorkshire and can’t wait to try on this dish. I have all the ingredients in my kitchen☺️ Cheers mate !

Nice tip with broccoli, didn't think of that one, we all love broccoli, especially sprouting. Haven't used filo in a while have to sort that. Happy 45th birthday for yesterday, great looking birthday cake.
