Your trivialization of our craft is driving clients away from the salon then bringing clients to hairdressers. Not only yourself but all the other youtubers teaching people to create for themselves, friends and families what we must study and become licensed by the state and pay taxes for doing and earning our living (as i have for about 40 years) is literaly ruining , belittling and devaluing our passion and life work. Chew on that when you get your royalty check from youtube and wake up.
He's not the first hairdresser to do this, and certainly not the last. I haven't gone to the hairdresser since 95 bc they fucked up my hair so badly i refused to let anyone else touch my hair. Took like 2 years to grow out that monstrosity.
Harvard allows you to take some of their classes free via the internet, One day every type of knowledge will be free… this is where the world is heading, the collective conscious shares knowledge. Old caucasian boomers are dying out, new breed coming forth.
I hope you do realize the internet was made for this. It was made to share ideas and knowledge and different ways to do things. If you have a problem with this, you should know books exist that will also teach you how to do these things and more. This is the natural progression of things. Do you think every job is safe forever? We have cars that drives us and supermarkets that are run by robots. Even heart surgery using robots now. But you’re talking about hair stylists? If doctors are replaceable, why are you placing so much emphasis on your job as though it can’t happen to you? I understand being upset about your income loss, but you don’t need to take it out on someone who doesn’t know you exist. They aren’t stealing customers from YOU personally unless you live in their town. It just seems like anger displacement.
