Nice video. You still running stock clutches? If so have you noticed any power loss or belt slippage with the 30 inch tires? I'm wanting to go with 30's on my 800 as well.
Yes I am still running stock clutches. I have noticed maybe a 10% decrease at top end power My belt is cooked and needs to be replaced, but it’s not only because of the bigger tires. I have 5248kms on the stock belt and I ride it hard, are the cryptids a contributing factor? Absolutely, but I’ll be able to tell how much of a factor they are once the new belt goes in.
I haven’t run a commander but I’ve run a few outlander 1000s with terminators, outlaws and silverbacks in the 30 inch roughly size. I have put in dalton clutch kits in those machines it’s unbelievable how much of an improvement they are over the stock clutching. The clutching makes a huge improvement in putting the power to the ground.
