This video tutorial will teach you an easy crochet pattern. It only has 2 repeating rows (plus foundation row). You can choose any yarn, color, hook size, etc. This makes a great pattern for blankets, scarfs, shawls, placemats, etc. It works up super fast and looks very nice. Try it today. Basic stitches used to create a great pattern.

I only knew 1 stitch and have to learn by watching and doing at the same time. This made it super easy to learn this stitch. I can't wait until I'm done with this project so you can teach me another stitch.

Yolanda: THANK YOU SO MUCH, beautiful and easy pattern (small shell) once you get the hang of it. Going to make a shawl for my Aunt. I actually pretty much learned to crochet with your videos. Some stuff I have to rip out and choose something else a little too hard for me but I have only been crocheting for like 3 months. I made one of your baby sweaters...you made it so easy to follow and it turned out great and a baby blanket too. Again THANK YOU and I love your videos you are FANTASTIC Yolanda. I go to other videos and always come back to yours because I can understand you and your videos are clear and you post the pattern in the video which I type out so I can print it and refer to it as we go along. Have a great day, Diane

I am just learning to crochet. I have just learned the single crochet stitch. So I was thinking it would take years to learn to follow a pattern to actually create something useful like a scarf or blanket. Then I came across your video and watched you and you made me believe that I can do this. You are a very good teacher because you explain in detail every step you are doing, even if it is a little faster than the very slow beginner. I can't wait to get some yarn and then play your videos again. Thanks!

I really love this video, but wish I had written also. I am trying to do an afghan and think I ended with a shell. When you do your stitches do you put them through both posts or just one of the posts (I may be using the wrong words). Especially with the first row of chains, I have difficulty going through both. Hope this makes sense, as I am new to this. THANKS

Why doi you measurements of so many plus 2, why not just say , crochet 22, instead of 20 +2, that always confuses me.

From what I understand, the first number has to be used in those multiples. For instance if the numbers are 10 + 3, that means if you want to make the blanket bigger use a multiple of 10. A multiple of 10 could be 20, 30, 40. Then whatever number you decide you just add the second number..in my case +3. So if another example is 30 + 4. I could use a multiple 60 and then I would add +4. Just think of multiples of the first number THEN just add the second to that.
