Easy to Program Toyota 4Runner Key (2011 & Newer) 

Just programmed my key, 2011 Rav4, with the key you cut from the pictures I sent and used the cell phone you sent, 😁 it all worked just fine, easy and simple, TY saved me a few hundred with the dealership.... I'll recommend you to everyone!!!!

Did this for a 2019 4Runner. Awesome product. I bought the keys elsewhere and the programmer was able to program both keys. The process went smoothly and is easy. The customer service is fast and helpful! 100% recommend!!

Used the programmer for a family members 2014 4Runner. Had two keys fully programmed in less than 15 minutes. Top notch customer service as well. Hope they expand to newer vehicle brands as well because this is really helpful technology to keep customers from spending excess money at dealerships.

I rented the programmer and it worked great. I was impressed with Toms Keys customer service as well. I purchased some flip out Moso holders and got two blanks from Toms. I broke open Toms and used the chips and buttons. It worked great and saved me a ton!!! I have new flip open keys and I love them. Toms even followed up after I returned the programmer to see how it went. I am very impressed and as a small business owner myself I can appreciate this kind of customer service.

Great experience using Tom's Key Company and following this video for our 2012 4runner. Received the key programmer and key, and was good to go. The locksmith who cut the key was blown away that I was able to both program the key and the remote. When I sent the programmer back, I was notified the programmer was received and my deposit was refunded. I saved $200 using this service - and it was so easy!

Tom's key programmer worked perfectly for my 2010 Toyota 4Runner. Longest part was watching the short RU-vid video, from there it was super quick and easy! Saved me money and time from not having to deal with the dealership. I highly recommend 🙌

I’m glad I came across your channel. Just ordered two keys and was able to reprogram the chip and remote without any issues. Took them to a local locksmith and got them cut for $5.00 and they work just like the OEM key. Thank you!

Rcvd programmer today, just programmed my new 4Runner key in about 15 minutes. Works great. The included phone was helpful too cuz it already had the app on it and was paired to the programmer for a quick and easy process. Thank you tomskey! Returning package tomorrow.

I used the Tom's key for my 2017 4Runner. Saved me $180 over a local locksmith and almost $300 over a dealership. Received my deposit back immediately too. Will use again if my keys take a walk off a short pier again.

Just got this rental in the mail today. Got the key from somewhere else because i wanted the toyota logo...holy crap was this easy. Even double clicking unlock to roll the windows down works. Saved me about $220

This worked beautifully for my 2012 4 Runner that came with only 1 master key from the dealership. I bought 2 keys from EBay prior to hearing about Tom’s Key but once I did I rented the unit and programmed 2 keys. The instructions that came with the programmer were not good. The RU-vid link that is in the instructions was not good. I actually searched on RU-vid and found this video that helped me program my keys. The Instructions need to be updated to link to this RU-vid video instead of the other one.

I did this and worked great. Made me feel like a DIY rad dad. Remember to erase old keys if your having problems- there may be too many keys added to your vehicle.

This video also applied to my 2011 Rav4. Programmed just fine first time around. However, I never got the timer on the phone sent to me. I determined that the programming was complete when the security light went off. Total cost was about $138 including $32 for key cutting. Do not assume the local key cut will be in the $5 range. It may be worth shopping around. When I decided to go with Tom's I thought total cost would be in the $100 range.

So, do you need one of these programs to connect a new fob? Or can you do the program steps where you open/close the door, stick key in/out of ignition..etc? I was able to do that with my 07 Tacoma. I need a 2nd key/fob for my 2016 4Runner sr5. Thanks 🙏

Programmed my key fob, it works for a bit when I first pull it out of the ignition. After 40 seconds it stops working. Horn, lock, unlock doesn’t work. Any ideas ?

I did order this and after I payed $389 and they send me a tracking number 2 days letter I received an email said they don’t have my product and I have to wait for more than two weeks to receive my product. (really)I asked them for a refund and they refund me it in five days

I lost my keys on a trip and the lock smith made me a spare key, is that now my master key ? I have another real key from Toyota but it no longer work what do I do ?
