Thank you!! I recently started "re"gearing my boomy and the moon phase build was driving me nuts because it felt slow compared to everything else, like you mentioned.
really detailed vid, been maining balance for a year and have had stellar flare hard locked purely for an easy way of getting a third dot on a target, especially keeping it locked in after learning starfall infact does not count for waning twilight, thanks for including the part about astral smolder counting for it, I can now swap that talent at long last.
I just started playing Balance Druid for the first time. I appreciate the video, but I'm not sure if I'd call it 'Easy'. ;) Thanks again for the vid. I'm sure it'll make sense once I get to end games raids and mythics.
Are you going to to make other spec guides too? Because I learned so much from one survival guide you made long ago when you said you recommend using mongoosbite maximum 3 times before regenerating focus I still remember it
Thanks for this Guide.😊I have a question...so opener for Raidboss is always...cast wm2 wraths...then put moon and sunfire dot and then get in Inkarnation?Did I understand right? This is always the opner for Single target to get my 2 Set Tier ready?
Even at high keys we're weak right now. The ramp time is killing us. I mean in certain groups, and the best players will make it work better than average Joe's. Starfall feels weak, and we just slog along. Moonfire should hit every nearby target like Sunfire. It's a start to reducing some of our ramp up that just isn't paying off. It's been a bad season for Balance.
@@echoechoecho7142 feels very true, doing 11s to practice and things just die so quick I have no time to get things rolling. Damage ends up being super bad
Could you explain to me or could someone tell me what those fire birds are that fall to the test dummy at min 6:28 please, I would greatly appreciate it :)
Balance is in a good place right now, not necessarily the biggest damage, but the rotation and talent choices feel better than ever. I just wish that starfall is more bursty than a passive big aoe, like same amount of damage but in half the time, even with higher astral power cost. It should be a big deal when I choose to cast starfall, not some passive aoe dot
@@DrummerGAS Ok I guess I can see that. The wording was confusing me "use starsurge every other time" was tripping me up. I thought he meant use starfall on 3 or more, and starsurge every other cast. Which made no sense to me. Just trying to learn =] Thank you.
I am trying to figure out what he meant by that as well, I thought on three or more we just keep spamming Starfalls. As you said, this guide makes it sound like we weave in Starsurges, even on huge packs.@@aaronnewton6034
i dont understand?? if its single target, why would i open with wrath if thats my single target spell? wouldnt i want to enhance that? and if not, why dont we always use the 2 wraths for solar eclipse? why is it a rotation between the 2?? this is so odd
Because: (1) Wrath has a lower cast time, and you can't pre-cast two starfires. (2) Your goal at the moment is to consume the dreamstate buffs. (Being in an eclipse faster is more important than which eclipse you are in for that particular goal) (3) After you do that, you pop incarn, so it's not like you are locked out of solar eclipse. If incarn is on cooldown, don't do what he said. (But also, if incarn is on cooldown, that's not really the traditional "opener" situation.)
''Here is the beginner guide for Boomkin! First, here are the talents which make no sense to you because you know nothing about the class, interacting with skills you have no idea about and modifying them into something you have no idea about either! And now you know how to play Boomkin!'' Great beginner guide indeed.
Maybe it's hard for you to understand but hey, I see A LOT of people in the comments being pretty happy with it after picking up balance for the first time :) Thank you for the feedback, we now know where to act
Its not easy at all though, what is the eclipse thing etc etc. Im just more confused after watching the first minute xDDD Looks like a great video but not noob friendly enough hehe x) ❤
maestri convertion factor is acktly the worst... versa can convert better than maestry even considering the passive astral maestry from druids. Just to be clear, the factor number for maestry on balance druids are 300 and for versa is 205 (the less better convertion), the current middle point for all classes are 180~170, so basically maestry isn't the best to focus but versa has best convertion rate
I stopped playing them when they introduced that boring basic asf lunar solar cringe garbage. Now I need it to lvl in wfw because resto cat weaving is still too weak for mobs. I hope this guide has an easy 1-5 step rotation 😂 (will watch after work)
