Have you wondered how to do a cut crease eyeshadow look on a hooded or aging eye? Or on ANY eye shape for that matter? My best tip for a cut crease on hooded eyes is to dab some concealer onto the center of the lid right against the lash line, then blink! It will transfer onto the exact spot you need to do your cut crease. Then just go by that to fill in the rest of the lid. Apply shadow and your done ✅ Hope this tip helps somebody that is struggling. It’s a super easy way to achieve a simple cut crease on hooded eyes.

Amy Bonds, I have hooded and mature eyes as well and after seeing Risa's video I gave it a try and now I lóve lóve lóve to wear makeup on my eyes because now I can! Long time I had watery eyes all the time, and I now know (from Wayne Goss, thank you wayne) that this might be a reaction of applying foundation with a sponge or brush near the eye-aeria...so I tried a different technique and yes.. this was so helpfull.. I can only use brushes of the softess material, otherwise the eye gets watery or using my fingertips. But the info that Risa gives us is so so nice and helpfull :)

AMEN! I usually laugh at these hooded eye tutorials that are on a 20 yr old! But, Honey? My HOOD has a hood! Hahahahaha! And also the whole downturned puffy ends that make it just that much harder! So, sincerely, I am so grateful that you did this tutorial! Yay! Bravo!

JillyAnn Loves Jack I've tried this technique in the past but don't like that my primer is removed in the process, what I do is put concealer on my eyelid along the lash line look up and I have the crease line I follow, I fill in down from that line and up from the lash line, you might want to give it a try☺

Omg, where have you been all of my life. I am turning 60 next month and going on my dream vacation, I rarely wear makeup because my eyes look so bad. I was searching youtube to find a video on how to use eyeshadow on hooded eyes. I came across you, I watched your original video Hooded Or Down turned Eyes? Hi, I'm a long-time fan of your channel. I discovered this technique while playing around with my eye shadows. I marveled at how it brightened and "lifted " my eyes. I don't have hooded eyes, but I am 61 and have purplish eyelids and under eyes. (Color corrector and concealer are my BFF'S). This cut-crease technique is great. Thank you for showing and BTW, you look beautiful with it.
