Hello everyone, I'm back with a new guide on floating and sinking. This new trick is extremely easy and fast, all devices can do this with ease (yes, even mobile devices (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧). I hope this can help you create many more wonderful designs in your teapot ( ˘ ³˘)♥︎

These methods are so much more painless, thank you for doing this!! I love that no longer needing to sink with floating boulders means there's more load to spare for furnishings

May I know why or how am I not doing this right? because once I move the furnishing away from the boulder they drop down @.@

make sure to group the buildings you want to move away/float, then select only the group you created@@ChiyoTachi

Oh wow, I didn't think it'd be this easy! Now since there won't be much things to do in 4.3 other than events, I think I'll finally go all in organizing my teapot.

I wish we could float indoor furniture even higher. Also it would be great if they removed the label of indoor/outdoor furniture so we could use both wherever we want. I can only dream... Thanks for the tutorial it was helpful.

The sinking doesn’t seem to work anymore. The bottom part is just set to the floor, rather than to the lowest item. Please help :(

yes, the old way doesn't work now, but i got a new way. 1) try make a group (e.g. waypoint + grass) at high altitude say 30m above ground. 2) place the item u wanna sink (e.g. waypoint) in another floating platform below (still in group, max 15m below). 3) lower the floating platform to ground (break the group separation distance limit). 4) select the upper item (e.g. grass), edit as group, move to ground level. (sink waypoint)

omg!! u have no idea how frustrating it was trying to float things i mean i can float the rock but when i try n put things on top n remove the rock, it sinks down

Can someone help? I have everything in a set, but when I try to take the higher item off the boulder to lower it to the ground, it stays the same height as if the boulder is still there (but it’s not), and the rest of the build moves with it but doesn’t go down?

is this possible for example there's multiple furnishing and i will create a set for all the buildings and stuff, and delete all the landforms?

you still need to float whatever you put on top of the landforms. if you move it as a set and the floating items stay floating in the air and separate from the landforms, only then you can delete them.

You need one of the sub space boulders, the one in the video is “sub-space boulder: sea of mist” then click the “switch: vertical adjustment” button
