Today we performed a much needed memory upgrade to our ACER 5600u All-in-one desktop computer. The Memory we chose was the 2 pack Crucial 8GB (16GB total) DDR3L 1600 SODIMM. We purchased ours through WWW.Crucial.com, but found it cheaper on Amazon. The shipping is faster with Amazon prime, so I only included prime options. We use Adobe Premire Pro to edit video. This is a very memory intensive program. To give you an idea of the performance enhancement, a 6 minute video took 33 minutes to render (format all footage and digital assets to 1080p) The 8 minute video you just watched took only 17 minutes! Also, we are now able to preview in HD without dropping frames. If you are not familiar, it simply means we can play video we are editing at normal speed and resolution without pauses and skipped frames. A very worth while upgrade and a bargain at the Amazon price.
This memory is compatible with nearly all Acer Aspire All in One desktop computers.
