I'm always amazed at what simple fixes do to a city. And even if you know a lot, there are always more tips to discover. Well done Toadie, good explanation!
This may sound like an overreaction, but this changed my life. I’m 12 and I’m stuck in lockdown meaning my mental heath and OCD levels are excruciating high, and I’ve wanted to find a good city builder (because I love cities) that was fun to play and visually appealing. For a while I couldn’t find any good city builders, however I came across this game and I enjoyed it, but I couldn’t make a nice city that would help my OCD calm down. No matter how much I searched the web tips were good, but didn’t help (because i am on Nintendo and I can’t get a pc) These simple tricks help so much. For me and made me really happy. PS: Sorry to anyone if I sound annoying ungrateful or stupid.
I think I understand the feeling. I absolutely use C:S as a creative outlet and a way to focus my brain. Really glad I can help, keep up the good stuff!
This is where I'm at , can build a city but cannot for the life of me set up a structure/road network that will make it pop , perfect vid 👌 thank you 😊
Wow wow wow! Thanks so much for this video! I finished your dummies series today. My city has not made it all the way to megaloplis yet. I was already thinking about things to make it look better. Now I know so much more about changing it. I had already decided to use this city for learning from other videos. My daughter is into a different kind of game. But she did confirm to me that using dlc's and add on packs is still vanilla play. Many years ago I did a lot of mods and cc in sims3. Since then I am learning vanilla play can allow me to learn more about games, ie, sims4. Now that I have finally learning cities I want to play vanilla for a long time. Someday perhaps I will want to use mods.I have nothing against playing with mods. This is a challenge I am giving myself. I am 74,I have found that learning things really helps my brain function better than it did 10 years ago.
Love this! But on PS4, I can't zoom in close enough to see which direction the trash cans are facing! Is there a way to zoom in closer while placing objects?
Help. Console is THE WORST platform you can have for cities skylines- no mass transit road late editing thingy, no mods (so no anarchy!!!!). All you have is the base game and its DLC's.
