going to get a few real soon. I used to make sushi with cauliflower instead of rice.. think i'm going to start that up again... can't do sushi right without a good box
I've been vegetarian since the beginning of 2016. it started out as a resolution for the new years but then I started loving it. I totally forgot what meat tastes like 😂 And I feel so accomplished 😎🎉
I've watched so many bento box lunch videos in preparation for the new school year, and I can honestly say this is the only one where the recipes were actually appealing to me.
Chips are my guilty pleasure. We've given up on unhealthy and cruel carnist foods, we need to indulge on some fat and salty chips once in a while! Thanks again for sharing ; )
I've been thinking about going vegan for so long now, and your videos are what have made me fully commit to it. I love how you have so many different and simple recipe ideas, and they're things I actually want to eat because so many other channels only reccommend salad and stuff which I can't eat forever. Keep up the great work :)
I love these videos so much. Never thought to use sweet chile sauce instead of soy sauce which has gluten in it that I'm allergic to. Do you have a fave brand of chile sauce?
chill, people from other countries can't distinguish similar accents very easily. I'm from New Zealand and when im overseas people only ever guess I'm Australian or British... it's really not unusual you should cut her some slack
Hi Liv, I like covering my bamboo mat with a damp cloth. I find it easier to roll because it also softens the nori a bit and for some reasons it's easier for me. Also the bamboo won't get stained. IDK if that would be helpful to anyone else but I thought I'll share it in case somebody could use this idea. Loved your recipes as usual. Thumbs up a greetings form Vienna 😘🙋🏼
I'm so happy with your channel. I needed your lunch ideas for school! I'm always eating the same things, your lunch recipes are so easy to make and I love that you also include snacks!
these videos are legit one of the reasons I’m actually starting to eat normal lunches as opposed to a single pack of pretzels or something like that, thank you! !!
hi Liv. I was vegetarian for a year and I remember feeling great, but I went back to eating animals again. Now, flash forward years later. I am 51 years old and am going vegetarian as of September 10th. I love your lunch ideas as I work 5 hour shifts and get 10 min break. TY for this channel.
okay i just have to comment on this one. I am the typ of person who just watches and never comments but this video was just so awesome that i had to. You inspired me to start a healthy lifestyle and i am just so thankful for this. Please do not stop with those videos ^_^
I really enjoyed this video! I am a really picky eater and usually a lot vegan meal ideas have some items I don't eat, but this..... AWESOME! Can't wait to try them
Wow, never heard of these Bento things. I am going to buy one. Just looking at the pictures of the things you make, make my mouth water. Do you use different size boxes ?
these look soooooo tasty!! thank you! those lunch bento boxes look gorgeous too. I think if you leave one inch space at the top of the seaweed with no rice, it rolls up easier. I wet that last empty strip area with wet fingers then roll them up :) Works for me
You just got a new subscriber! First RU-vidr I come across that has healthy and original ideas without being too extreme (you know, the girls who only eat fruits and veggies).
I would love to go Vegan, but I don't even know if it's possible for me to do. I have severe bowel disease, along with a Stoma. So too much fruit and vegetables, cause me bowel obstructions and surgery. I'm also not fond of many veggies at all. So vegan/vegetarian wise, I'd be limited. I rarely eat meat anyway, mainly just seafood, but because my diet is so lacking, I take vitamins to help my iron etc. I don't know if anyone would have advise for me ? I guess I'll do some research on what I could do!
Shari Coulton you do what's best for your body! it sounds like going vegan isn't an option for you but there are other ways you can prevent animal cruelty besides food. buying cruelty free makeup/skincare is an awesome too
Angel Su thank you Angel. I always try to think, it probably wouldn't be good for me to do it, but then I feel crappy about it haha. I'll definitely look into other things I can do!
About not liking a lot of vegies: Your tastebuds are adaptable, so if you eat something they will change their palette over time and you will come to like it! That said; if your body can't sustain a full vegan diet then don't go vegan. You say you don't eat much meat but mostly fish, so why not go piscetarian? Or at least flexi-piscetarian :) Never compromise your health!
I just want to say I REALLY appreciate these videos, it's obvious you put a lot of effort into them and they're really well done :) You're re-inspiring me to go vegan! I've probably watched ten of your vids in a row! Thanks girl
Elizabeth Gresham there are tons of different brands out there. I have a couple bento boxes one from walmart and another i got from costco that came with a lunch bag to put it in. Shop around
agreed i can figure out ways on buying healthy .. but i just put in my basket 1 bento box a dip bowl and the divider ..50$ usd !!! ill stick to tupperwares
i brought the bento box just so theyll look as pretty as yours i love these videos sm!!! Im not vegan but i dont really eat meat for lunch so these are great ideas thanks so much xx
Wow you are amazing!!! Every other video I watched had like milk and chicken and a lot of other mean and dairy products your the only one who I actuallt can get Ideas from❤ and on top of that your voice is so calm
Protip, leave an inch of the seaweed without rice and roll. It'll seal the roll without squishing any rice out. My dad used to work in japanese kitchens.
