Hello,it looks fantastic but i have question. In the full writen recipe you said coat both sides of the tofu fillet in cornstarch but in the video you have skipped this step.Could you explain please? Thank you
I made a modification after I filmed. It will turn out great either way. I really like adding cornstarch because it makes the dish extra crispy and holds on the nori sheet a little better!
It is not needed. I added it to the written recipe because I adjusted the recipe after filming. It does make the fillet a little crispier and helps hold on the nori sheet, but the dish turns out well either way.
For someone who is on a very low sodium diet is there any decent substitute for miso paste? I love miso but that would throw the sodium way to high for our diet.
@@VeganAlohaKitchen I greatly appreciate your reply. Even low sodium soy sauce is too high for our diet. We eat less than 1500 MG of sodium daily. I may try this recipe but just omit the miso or try a very small amt of coconut amino in it. The loss of salty flavor doesn't really bother us as our taste buds have changed radically. 😁 thanks again
I typically either turn my seafood dishes into sushi rolls or a fried "fish " sandwhich! Any suggestions on what to make next? To be honest I am running into a little bit of a creative hole :)
@@VeganAlohaKitchen I am so burnt out on cooking right now. I eat mostly peanut butter on burger buns... Ravioli is fun though. as well as tamales. both take a bit of work so it's worth making large batches and freezing them.
I agree. For a while my husband and I were vegan plus fish (just for health reasons). After watching Seaspericy I was so done with fish and have been searching for great alternatives.
