I'm thinking about purchasing your watercolor essentials course, but I'm wondering if the 29 videos are the lectures you've published on RU-vid or if they are different and more instructive/demonstrative?
I have been following you for some time now and thank you because i can see I am improving bevause of your tips. I just need to practice now so that what I learn from you becomes easier!
Thanks Matthew, I tried wetting both sides of the paper on Fabriano paper at our art club yesterday but it seemed to blow out all the colour when I put the paint on. You get a great result in your examples but I’m missing something! Keep up the great work you do, I really find it motivating!
I tend to have a similar issue and I think it comes down to HOW wet the paper is when you start painting. I think it's best to wait a little until the the paper isn't soaking wet anymore. As with everything in watercolor painting, timing is key- and my worst enemy! 😅
Hi! I have noticed that you use very often lavender in your skys und I find the effect pretty good. I have this colour in my pallet but it granulates so much that I hardly use it. How behaves yours and from what branch is it? Greetings from Germany
Thank you. I like you teaching..very clear. Just a question as a new painter I wonder...does it matter what temperature the water is? Wanda (Canada 🇨🇦)
Hello, just a quick question for you. Been looking everywhere for the lilac colour that you use, and being honest, I'm struggling to find anything that is actually named "lilac". What brand do you use?
