THANK YOU! Watching all those channels that insist you have to have a boat & spend $$$$ on scanners is so discouraging. I've been disabled for years, but I decided that this summer I was going to start fishing again, even if I can't walk very well. My family is VEHEMENTLY opposed to my getting into a boat for now. ( To be honest, I can't even step up a curb or into a step in shower most days), at least until I can spend an afternoon fishing from the bank --without spending the next day being chauffeured to the hospital via the ambulance. So for now, I will live vicariously enjoying your success & relearn what to do. Thanks again, Teresa in Kechi, Ks

Yes Richard, you are walking parallel to the lake...If you were walking perpendicular to the lake, you would either be walking away from the lake (not much good for a fishing video) or you would be walking on water...and there is only one ..that does that and it isn't me or you..but we do worship him!! I know what you mean. I’m in Asheboro and it’s tough to get to a good place. All the banks are either too steep and brushy or posted. You almost have to get a boat.

Sometimes a small hair (natural or synthetic) or marabou jig works in tough conditions under a float. I imagine you have some of those to try, too.

I notice you don't pre-load your jigs, something I always helped our fisherman with, to catch more Crappie while fishing jigs with floats. Is there a reason you prefer a vertical positioning of your jigs, over a more realistic horizontal presentation? Love your channel.

Not sure the hook but I’d almost guarantee that’s a 1/32 ounce jig head.
