Thank you for the positivity! I have been drenched with torrential rain numerous times with my painted denim vest. It has never bled. Once you break in the gloss acrylic paint on your denim it takes on a leather-y plastic type texture. I even machine wash my pants that I have painted with gloss acrylic and the paint goes no where. The gloss acrylic really binds with the denim and they become one with each other. I find it impossible to remove the gloss black acrylic paint once it is fully set into your denim.
