If you want a side cut and you're dreading the idea of growing it out later or you're already in the process of growing it out, fear no more. These are super easy ways to hide it that don't require any skill whatsoever and I do these things to my hair almost every day.

I'm watching this because I've started to grow out mine recently. Flattening out the hair as soon as you get out of the shower helps a lot. Do it in the direction you want to style it and it won't stick out!

Omg I'm glad it's not just me that has that annoying tuft bit when growing it out. I always give in and last night again I did and shaved it a number 3. Now I've seen this I'll try flatten it with hair putty next time. I just heard you say st the end you shaved yours again too. Was just telling my friend I think I'll be stuck with this style forever!! Its so hard to grow out. N mines nearly to my centre parting!🙈🙈

I've got curly hair so my side bits that are growing out make me look like george washington if I try to do a ponytail 😫... but yeah, headbands are a life saver

Thanks! I’m watching because my neurosurgeon clearly didn’t go to beauty school! The side shave I’m saddled with right now isn’t a very flattering one. 😢

I also just had brain surgery like a month ago and was left with a sidecut which goes back even further than the video one. It’s starting to get spiky lol. I can hide it by parting my hair in the middle but it looks a lot thicker on one side so I’ll be getting a haircut tomorrow. Thanks for these ideas. Bandanas/headbands have been really useful so far. Actually I really like the look of the sidecut, looks nice on you as well! (Saw the shave video). Thanks for these tips!

My current problem with my side cut is that my hair is very fine, curly, and I have lots of it. So I have to part in the complete opposite side to the shave because otherwise my hair looks uneven on the sides

I can! I just have to cover the new growth every time I dye my hair. I'm a natural blonde and I dye my hair black. My hair grows very quickly though, so it looks kinda awkward a lot of the time if I don't do a part on the other side of my head to cover it.
