Great book for a beginner . ru-vid.comUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ this book really starts from the beginning, as in it explains what basic tools are and how to use them. But when it gets to the art of creating joints and how and when to use them this book really starts to teach you something. At least that was my experience.

"Easy project"... *Tools used - table saw, miter saw, jointer, planer, drill press - Everything is easy when you have 3.000+ EUR to buy all these tools.

All you need is thousands of dollars' worth of special equipment and you are set to go. Really dude, not everyone has a special room with all this equipment to make these DIY easy projects.

These are all valid complaints are how “easy “ woodworking is with all the sophisticated tools. A lot of us have neither the space nor funds to have a dream array of tools. So many RU-vid creators are missing the boat in catering to a limited audience.

Friendly tip....no t-nuts....no epoxy,...drill undersized hole, thread rod will Thread / Tap itself.

Sorry but you made a big mistake. The threaded rod you put from the wrong side into the drive-in nut. It‘s useless to put clou. When you tighten each other's nut, you pull the knock-in nut out of the wood. The drive-in nut must be pulled into the wood when tightening

This is a great project for my woodwork class I signed up for. Turned out so nice ,probably not a beginners project because of those cuts I would have to make. If the teacher allows it I am trying it.

Could this design be turned into a laundry basket by adding some plywood or lumber drips on the bottom?

прикольно, единственное, непонятно, почему нельзя было стартовые бруски перевернуть врезной гайкой вниз и обойтись без клея на шпильке, они вобщем для такого и предназначены.

Nice job but I am a bit confused about why you cut off the threaded bar and then glued the feet over the ends. Wouldn't it of been better to glue nuts into the feet and then just screw them on. 👍

Wonder if squeezing the glue components into a plastic straw and massaging the straw would mix it sufficiently. Certainly would then be easy to apply.

Your viewing times will be longer if you start by showing the finished item. People won't watch the build for the sake of the technique unless they're interested in the actual outcome. Just saying, as I go right to the end first

Интересно какова рентабельность этого проекта? Говорят советская промышленность покупала материала на 1$ и выпускала продукции ценой 0,9$. Думаю в этом проекте не больше чем на 0,5$ получится. Но если убедить покупателя, что это Малевич после "Черного квадрата" изваял, то возможно и за 100$ возьмет. Но там уже основной талант не столяра, а маркетолога.

Sorry, was busier earlier, but yep, I think Woody is still giving away his woodworking book, but I'm not so sure. I managed to get it go'ogling Woody Hyezmar, and was surprised to see his "Woodworking Bible" up for grabs, hope this helps.

So, l finally fell into peer pressure and go'ogled Woody Hyezmar’s Bible. Yes, you can get his projects at no cost, although admittedly they're not up there with the best, there are a few golden nuggets you can have fun with.

This is a nice project but I found myself really frustrated by this video for a few reasons. 1) The clickbait title that explains nothing about the video...you literally have to wait all the way to the end to know what the project is, or whether the project is even worth the time to watch. 2) This is NOT DIY. DIY means easy and made at home...I don't know many folk that have access to jointers and multiple planers just laying around at home...the tool usage in this video is for professionals or folk who have a full shop and all the necessary training and knowledge...the term DIY does not apply to these folk...you could hand them a simple drawing and they could build it. DIY would have been showing where to buy the pre-made wood pieces and how to assemble with minimal tools for folk who want a simple and fun home project...This project could so very easily be that, but that is not what you have presented here. And finally, 3) For this project, which is very simple compared to the work involved in this video, you give no useful information. What are your measurements? How big to drill the holes? How many pieces do you need? Etc... None of this is provided, and so leaves the DIYer completely in the dark...again your video is relying on the viewer to have professional level knowledge enough to just understand what you are doing...totally out of the realm of DIY again. I am a professional home-builder and woodworker of almost 30 years and am always seeking videos with good ideas and inspiration...I got 2 minutes into this video and just fast forwarded to the end to see what you were making and actually got upset enough at its simplicity to write to you about this. All that for a simple slat box lamp? An hour at Home Depot and a cheap cordless drill is enough for this project to be completed in an afternoon and something that any DIYer can tackle. I don't mean to be a picky jerk, but sadly, I think this video hurts the DIY movement more than it helps, and the questions in the comments make my point. Keep making videos and showing your work to the world, but maybe understand your intended audience better, or aim for the non-DIYers. Sorry for the rant...

Easy project ??? Have you used the thousands of dollars machines, have a professional workshop, and say it's an easy project? Well, whoever has such a workshop does not need your advice. For amateurs, you should present something that you use a pendulum saw and some emery. If you want to brag about what you know how to do, don't name what you post as easy. Everything is easy when you have technology. If you don't post something really easy, it means you just want to brag about what you know how to do.
