After a good spotting trip filming at Amsterdam airport on the famous Palderbaan runway it was time for the short hop back across to London Luton. Now EasyJet were playing a bit of a juggling game. The inbound flights from Gatwick & Luton were swapping on their return legs. So this aircraft had arrived in from Gatwick and in typical Gatwick style it was of course late. Which resulted in both departures back to Luton & Gatwick being late as the crew were also swapping aircraft to go back to the right base. As a result, our departure was 13 mins late. Luckily for us a fairly short taxi, for AMS standards. We used RWY24 climbing towards the coastline and into the sunset. We briefly levelled off at 22,000ft before beginning our descent into Luton. Arriving from the east onto Luton's RWY26 just in the last moments of dusk.
